Command & Conquer is an real time strategy franchise created by Westwood Studios that dawned in the year of 1995 with the first entry to the series known as "Tiberian Dawn". Eventually Electronic Arts decided to shut down Westwood Studios and take Command & Conquer into their own hands which yielded some unique results.
The Command & Conquer series revolves around three universes. Tiberium, Red Alert and Generals.

To this date, 20 Command & Conquer games (and expansions) exist. With a 21st Command & Conquer under development by Victory Games (a division of BioWare).

They have been really quiet about MP release
I just loved these games years ago, especially Tiberium Sun. Which is by far my favorite, it had such an intense atmosphere and the best soundtrack. (Klepacki is a beast!)
A friend and I always played it in his basement using old computers connected with Null Modems, we had a great time building huge bases and then threating eachother with nuclear weapons. Epic moments indeed.
I'll be honest, I started on Red Alert 3 before moving onto Generals, then Zero Hour, then CnC 3. I'd play the classics if they weren't so graphically painful.

No regrets though, RA3 was amazing fun.
Neat OP.
Might gonna try the Red Alert: A Path Beyond today.
One time me and my friend was playing Red Alert 2 against each and he sent like 10 battleships my way, thinking i was fucked my last resort was sending 5 Giant Squids to attack and they destroyed every single one of the battleships. Good times.
Ares 0.2 was released alongside CnC Reloaded for Yuri's Revenge.
Scrin were actually really fun to play as, C&C3 & Kane's Wrath were probably the least terrible new games that they released.
Too bad it went to complete shit afterwards.
RUBBER SHOES IN MOTION.

What about Generals?
Sure the facions were about as steriotypical as possible, but it was fun.

Generals Zero Hour is awesome. I have it still installed and play it from time to time.
Does anyone know no-cd for it that works online and with Gentool?
I hope they don't fuck up Generals 2.

I'm not buying it, even though I loved generals and zero hour.
Also, I gave my 8 year old friend (his mother and my dad are dating) my copy of RA2. He loves it.
Tiberian Sun is will be my favourite C&C forever.
The atmosphere was just perfect

When I said new games I meant in the past 5 years.
Generals is indeed great fun though(despite not being a C&C game in any sense), even moreso with the Shockwave mod.

If you want to try RA1, but not the graphics, either just try it, or find The Red Alert mod(converts RA3 to the first game).
I bet 10 dollars next game, Allies win again(4th red alert game, and it involves time travel again).

Oh, i thought with new games you meant the games not developed under Westwood.
Any CnCNet regulars here?

Just started using it. I love to play Red Alert 1 online again. Same with Tiberian Sun and Yuri's Revenge.
OpenRA may be of interest for C&C (the game) and Red Alert fans.

FOR THE GLA! ATTACK!
For Zero Hour and Generals, the mods are where it's at. Mods like Shockwave, Destructive Forces, Rise of the Reds, and Project Raptor liven the experience with new units and general powers while total conversion mods like Blitzkrieg II provide a completely new experience.
It was sad to see that Command and Conquer 3 never took off as a major modding game(There is only like 5 or less mods that are still active), Red Alert 3 got it worst with only one mod that I know of(Paradox) recieving frequent updates. I never played Tiberian Twilight because I prefer no unit limits while I doubt Generals 2 will be moddable since it uses the Frostbite engine.
