Rocket League is a physics based soccer game, where you're a rocket fueled car, and you have to score goals over other rocket fueled cars. It's ridiculously fun and has now been released on Steam and is free on July's PSN+ free games line up.

This game contains local (2-4 player split screen) and online multiplayer with up to 8 players.
Playing and winning matches will level you up and earn you rewards which you can use to decorate your kart.
It also contains cross platform play between the PS4 and PC (although you can disable this if you wish).

Now that the full game has been released, how are you guys enjoying it so far?
Do we have a Facepunch team thing?
The servers have been down all day on PS4, so I've yet to get an understanding of how it works but if possible we should totally have a Facepunch team.

I have fond memories of SuperSonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars. Does this one actually give you any sort of aid with controlling the ball or is it still basically blind luck if it goes towards the goal or not?

It's still determined by physics, not luck.
The servers are back up and holy shit this game is fun.
this game is the best
I want to play more of this game, but I don't want my PS4 to melt cause they haven't fixed the menu bug/bug with some tracks.

There's a bug on the main menu on the PS4 version.
It doesn't limit FPS or something and it causes the fan to go insane and the PS4 to get really hot.

Damn, when I downloaded this, I expected very little. Boy was I wrong. This game is great. I wish we had this in real life instead of soccer. I haven't had a smile on my face this big while playing a game in a long time.

Heads up it's something to do with the crowd on the main menu. If you angle the camera so it's facing down on top of the car it stops the fan freaking out.
Also really fucking enjoying this game. Finally got a noteworthy goal today too. Turns out back flipping is useful.

It happens on a bunch of stadiums as well. There have been games I've loaded into, fan started going insane cause of the stadium so I quit and find another game.
This easily is the most fun competetive game I've played in a long long time

One issue I've noticed is that if you're playing with bots, it's really easy to score a goal when the game starts. I've gotten like 6 goals in a row just by boosting into the ball at the start of a new round.

From what I've seen it only works on the rookie bots. If you put the difficulty one higher they all boost at the ball at the beginning so you can just knock it over their heads.
Ugh i really cant play this it makes my PS4 fan go crazy while in-game or the main menu not to mention it gets extremaly hot..
This is probably my new most favorite game of all time. It's fucking phenomenal; as if it was tailor made just for me. I'm finding it hard to find decent players, but when I do get matched up against a good team it's a blast.
I guess thats something that will go away when ranked becomes a thing.
Multiplayer can be ridiculous sometimes, I tell you what. Me and two randoms had a 5 game win streak, with this particular highlight being a crowning moment

The only problem with MP, naturally, is that you either seem to get a team that will absolutely destroy everyone or you get put against a team that will absolutely destroy everyone. I haven't seen much middleground yet.
I just bought this game after seeing it mentioned on reddit. I haven't tried to play against actual people yet but against bots is incredibly fun.
