Originally I was going to add BetterSpore on the OP, but there is no link for 1.5.1, and the closest version I can find on the internet was version 1.5.0. It's outdated anyways since Dark Injection has pretty much all the parts from it. Just updated the OP with Steam/Origin links for the PC games. If you want the retail versions those will be added later. I don't know if I can put a link for the Bot Parts since it may be considered as warez. It's in the Patches link if you want to get it.

It died. Anyway I'm installing Spore right now, thinking of doing a let's play or something.

Hrm, didn't think there was any active modding for this game still. Gonna have to reinstall it now.

I'm still mad at Maxis for all the shit they've done to Spore. Its still a relatively nice game (especially with Galactic Adventures), but I can't and won't ever forgive them.

The modding community for the game never took off which is a huge shame, the community could've made it not shitty.

Man, the space stage in spore would be so much better if it was kinda of a mix of what they have and a RTS. Basicly, you control a "hero" unit and have other ships to fix those damn pirates invading or other shit. I want to explore and take over the galaxy, I DONT CARE ABOUT SOME ANIMALS DYING ON YOUR PLANET THAT IS 100000 LIGHT YEARS AWAY.

Nah it isn't. The The Last Of Us thread is regularly without a post for weeks, but it always comes back up. A thread can't be considered dead so fast.

I used to be super-active a few years ago. I never really got popular or anything, except for a very brief time when I had won second place in an official contest where you were supposed to create a creature from a template, and if it won it would be featured and (was supposed to) be put into DarkSpore when it came out. i was really into this, i had an art book and a manual and everything and i spent so many hours in the creators and i was putting out some pretty cool stuff. Unfortunately, the addons came out and i didnt wanna pay for them so i kinda got left behind

Steam just removed Darkspore since it may no longer work for people who buy it. Unsurprisingly EA has no intention of fixing the game breaking bugs and is still charging money for it.

I remember the game was so hype when it was coming out. I was on a vacation when the creature creator demo came out and I took time out of it just to screw around in it. Its a shame Darkspore was such a flop, I actually liked that game a lot. I remember I was in the beta for it on steam for a while. Its rare to see a digital game like that just disappear.

I think about the game once in a while. I think it was one of the first true disappointments I've had with video games. I was hyped for the game for about 3 fucking years. Never again.

Wow does this stir up some memories, I might reinstall it to play with the mods. I'm just afraid of being horribly disappointed. I bought into every single one and sadly it flopped.
