[B][U]● What's Yandere Simulator?[/U][/B]
Best described as "Hitman in High School", Yandere Simulator is a work-in-progress (currently in alpha) stealth game. The player controls the titular Yandere-chan, as she tries to eliminate any and all girls that want to 'steal' her beloved Senpai from her. Murder, abduction, social engineering, or relationship manipulation are all options available.
[B][U]● What the [I]fuck[/I] is a Yandere?[/U][/B]
A [I]Yandere[/I] (ヤンデレ) is a female character who is deeply in love with someone, and also fully [I]batshit insane[/I], despite looking normal. A Yandere would do anything for her Senpai, as he is her only reason of life. If Senpai rejected Yandere-chan, she would lose any will to live (and that actually triggers a Game Over). Because of this, Yandere-chan must 'remove' all girls that could be potential lovers for Senpai, so that he cannot do anything but [I]love her[/I].
[B][U]● Tell me more about the gameplay![/U][/B]
Yandere-chan is a japanese highschool student, and her school is the setting of the game. Gameplay is divided into weeks. Every week, a new "Rival" will be revealed, and Yandere-chan's goal is to eliminate her.
Elimination can be achieved in a number of ways. The player can decide to kill the girl (a risky but relatively quick method), destroy her reputation through rumors, abduct her (probably the hardest method) or set her up with someone who's not Senpai.
Whatever the way the player chooses, s\he will need to carefully plan his\her actions. Yandere-chan can go to class to improve her statistics: this can be used to unlock more possible actions, from making poison to crafting phony suicide letters.
But such a work is extremely complex, especially when done from the shadows. Luckily, Yandere-chan can count on the aid of Info-Chan. This mysterious girl will provide Yandere-chan with info in exchange for "Panty Shots", which she sells to the boys of the school. But obviously the girls won't like knowing someone's peeping on them, so the player must be cautious!
Sometimes thing go wrong - maybe your plan wasn't as foolproof as you thought, maybe you miscalculate something, whatever happened, it led you to do something terrible. Killing people will make Yandere-chan lose sanity. Keep in mind that Yandere is already completely insane - her "sanity" only represents how well she can hide this. While on low sanity, Yandere-chan is showing her true nature: her actions will be clumsy, her attack sadistic, and her face absolutely terrifying.
Another important feature is Reputation. Both the player and his rival have a reputation: it is the player's goal to improve the first and possibly ruin the latter. Through Info-chan's favors, the player can improve his\her reputation or destroy the one of the current rival, or another NPCs, providing another method of "harmless" elimination.

Builds are released somewhat often but they are mostly for bug testing.
The guy making this has been really active on /v/. At least on 8chan, not too sure about 4chan.

Its a japanese honorific used to address upperclass students

Usually it means what Scerelyn said, in this context it is the main character's crush.

Specifically, when used in this kind of context, I think it is supposed to represent the main character putting her crush on a pedestal (Essentially calling them a better person than they are) - one of their justifications for making sure he ends up with the girl who loves him the most (herself)

It's the ?/ key.
I like the new facelift the interior of the school got in the last update, YandereDev's designated a bunch of locations for where the library, student council and other rooms will be in the future, which is pretty neat.
Does anyone have the June 16th build? The Dev site download doesn't work right now
