[b]PAYDAY 2™[/b] is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree.

The new CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts, and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic PAYDAY. While in DC, why not participate in the local community, and run a few political errands?

Up to four friends co-operate on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a new character customization and crafting system that lets crews build and customize their own guns and gear.

That heist (Brooklyn) was pretty short and sweet. Apparently even shorter than I was able to manage, since there's an achievement for being even faster. Good payout too.

my verdict on the heists from previous thread:

[sp]loud one: underwhelming. last escape area is sort of neat, but nothing special.
stealth: top tier. best stealth in the game by far. loot securing mechanic is pretty hilarious and easy, but i'm glad they chose that instead of lugging it back to the boat. music is incredible. somehow wish it could be adapted to main game, instead of being a specific heist track ala shadow raid. shadow raid's music "fitting", in comparison, is nothing compared to the jazz on this one. you don't kill mckendrick. not even sure if you can access where all the people are on the top deck. I think there's some tiny tiny lore hidden throughout the heist.

verdict: buy it on a sale, I guess? sniper seems good.[/sp]

also! i'll be doing the two weird panic room achievements later tonight. I always like to get some achievements with as many people as I can, so, if you feel like doing "cardio training" and "don't you dare miss", look for the announcement in-group later

And confusing since "mod workshop" is an existing term and payday has a steam workshop. I've already had new players confused when explaining modding to them. Last Bullet was a good name.

Yacht heist was underwhelming. Thank fuck i didnt buy it and joined pubs.

Yacht heist is interesting but stealth only and the fact that ive been waiting forever... What a fucking waist

The loud heist is tedious and boring as well.

Overkill imo hasnt made a good heist since maybe point break heists and even then those were just alright

better bots isn't causing it unless you downloaded an update for it like about 3 hours ago or so
it's probably wolfhud or pocohub, possibly both.

decided to play CF on hard for shitts n' giggles and i didn't break stealth until after i placed the drill and laid out the water house, all because you can't close the white mesa boxes when you're done hacking them.
