I'm intrigued to say the least. A more modern version of the old Harvest Moon games is definitely something I could sink a lot of hours into.
Been following this game for quite a while now. Looks fun and chill, I especially like how they added dungeons and combat to give the farming simulator that extra zesty spice.
I always loved the Harvest Moon franchise and It's Rune Factory spin-off series too. This looks like something I'd spend a lot of time in.
This seems like a game that would be well suited for portable devices.
I am almost certainly biased, but this game is fantastic. Can't wait for you guys to get your hands on it!
I've been following this game for ages. Can't wait!
I love to see indie dev making that kind of game, Harvest Moon is my favorite franchise, but it lacks innovating stuff, Stardew Valley looks amazing with everything I want in a Harvest Moon. We just need an Animal Crossing clone now.
Hot damn it's finally coming out? I wonder if that cave you can explore is randomly generated
I don't really know what it is about the newer harvest moon games, they just lack that addictiveness of the older ones. Probably worth noting that since 2014 Marvelous doesn't release anything under the name Harvest Moon since they broke with Natsume but Natsume still owns the name "Harvest Moon". Everything from Marvelous is under the name Story of Seasons now. As much as I love the Rune Factory series it just doesn't scratch the same itch that 64 and FoM did. Very much look forward to just spending hours just tilling plots of land.

Does this still have online multiplayer? Or am I thinking of a different harvest moon game?
Does this still have online multiplayer? Or am I thinking of a different harvest moon game?
It will, not on release tho.
my main gripe with the old harvest moon games everyone loved was that once you found that one way to cheese the game's economy things got kinda boring, maybe thats my own fault but they were never very well balanced. Still had good fun with them though, Im really glad this is on PC so if i find anything overly cheesy i can actually hope for fixes or mod it myself.

Also since I likely wont buy this till its co-op ready, I would probably look to not ruin the experience when playing with a friend by abusing something.

Less than an hour until release boys!
Less than an hour until release boys!
The game is out now! http://store.steampowered.com/app/413150/ GOG: http://www.gog.com/game/stardew_valley
Just bought and about to start it! Can't wait!
Played for close to two hours and man is it nice Gives me that good ol' happy Harvest Moon feeling
played this for a few hours, I really like it. I would like to point out though that it's kinda irritating that running diagonally is slower than going straight, up ,down, etc. And here's just a small thought I had, while I know this game has a horse for transportation, I would've loved to have a bicycle, it seems like it would fit for some reason. the developer also stated that it is kinda moddable right now but plans on adding full mod support in the future right? I can't wait to see what mods will surface with this.
Holy smokes [t]http://puu.sh/nmxaR/ebcc39321c.png[/t]
Got scammed by that dickhead Blacksmith, told me to build a furnace so I can smelt my own bars... I build a furnace and now it just sits there, I can't interact with it or nothing and I've got tonnes of copper ore in my hands.
Yes! I can get drunk in broad daylight! Harvest moon needed this.
Where are the saves located? I get 10 second freezes every now and then because my external drive is fucking up and I'd like to reinstall it somewhere else.
Where do I find coal?
Where do I find coal?
I don't know if this is how it's meant to be but the most coal I found was when 6 of them dropped after I right-clicked a minecart filled with them in the mines. I would also like to find a good way to procure coal without buying it.
Holy smokes [t]http://puu.sh/nmxaR/ebcc39321c.png[/t]
I guess people have really been wanting a harvest moon game on PC :v: And for those who got it: How's the combat and that dungeon you can go explore? Does this game have that stamina limit like harvest moon? And do the days pass by insanely quick?
