The crew is joined on the mission by the turian Spectre Nihlus Kryik from the Citadel's Office of Special Tactics and reconnaissance. The mission was meant to test Shepard's suitability for the role as a Spectre, but quickly changes when the Normandy arrives at the colony to find it's under attack by an unidentified alien spacecraft. When your squad arrives you identify that the colony is under attack by geth forces led by a rogue turian Spectre named Saren Arterius - who kills Nihlus. When you locate the beacon it activates, imparting strange visions in Shepard’s mind before becoming inactive. After the mission is complete you return to the Citadel Council to inform them of what happened and the actions of Saren. After the Council rejects your initial accusation you start your own investigation, uncovering evidence which leads to Saren being declared a rogue Spectre. Shepard is then granted Spectre status and given command of the Normandy with orders to hunt down Saren. While doing so you unravel his plot to bring back the ancient machine race known as the Reapers. Now it is no longer just about bringing one man to justice, but also to save a galaxy from extinction... Available for the PC and XBOX 360 (PS3 too, included in the Trilogy Edition). On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced. To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy's most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be suicide. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong. Available for PC, XBOX 360 and PS3. Commander Shepard has been relieved of command and detained in a Systems Alliance facility in the city of Vancouver on Earth. Without warning, Alliance deep space outposts beyond Sol begin to go dark. Admiral Steven Hackett, the head of the Alliance military, begins to prepare for an imminent invasion. Admiral David Anderson arrives in Vancouver and escorts Commander Shepard to a meeting with an Alliance defense committee. Shepard confirms their worst fears: the Reapers have returned to the galaxy and are on their way to Earth. With no help from the Council, it is up to Commander Shepard to unite the forces of the galaxy to even have a chance to save all life in the galaxy. Available for PC, XBOX 360 and PS3. The four Citadel Council races (Human, Asari, Turian, and Salarian), along with the Quarians are planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. Each race sends 20,000 citizens on a one-way, 600-year journey to Andromeda aboard their own transportation vessel, called an Ark, and selects a leader, known as a Pathfinder. Once the races arrive, they help build the Nexus, a huge space station that serves as a center of government and diplomacy, a living area, as well as a base of operations for the Pathfinders. The protagonist of Mass Effect: Andromeda is, depending on player choice, either Scott or Sara Ryder, twin facially challenged siblings to Alec Ryder. Alec is humanity's Pathfinder, tasked with finding and protecting mankind's, and the various races, new home in this new galaxy. Available on Windows, Xbox One and PS4. This space will be made into links to nice images when I find and resize them. Enjoy this nice Desert picture. Vetra is the best wife
Ganerumo, good counter-argument on [sp]The Krogan choice.[/sp] I like it.
Ganerumo, good counter-argument on [sp]The Krogan choice.[/sp] I like it.
Made me think a bunch about it, yeah. Mass Effect 1 is the best one.
Mass Effect 1 is the best one.
The only good one, at that.
Reposting because I'm utterly BAFFLED by it: WHY THE FUCK [sp]ARE THERE BLUE KROGAN IT LOOKS RETARDED. There's also a further point about the [sp]Krogan/Salarian choice[/sp] and it's Diplomacy. [sp]The Krogans left the Milk Way because they were tired of being used and seen as expendable. The first thing that happens to them upon waking up is being used and seen as expendable. The pathfinder further using that logic by abandoning CAPTURED scouts in favor of actually expendable Salarian troops who CHOSE to put their lives at immense risk to the point of near suicide is obviously going to hurt Drahk a lot because it reminds him exactly of what he tried to avoid. If anything, saving the scouts is a strong diplomatic gesture that Krogans matter now.[/sp]
The only good one, at that.
Nah, they all have their good bits. ME1 has the best story and world building, ME2 has the best characters and DLC, and ME3 has the best combat and inventory/upgrade system.
I like 2 the most because it has the good blend of 1's story telling with 3's gameplay, not the exact same gameplay as 3 mind you, but still it's a good balance between the 3 games. Although I think I played 3 the most.
[sp]I wouldn't call the only surviving original pathfinder expendable.[/sp]
[sp]Hey, if the humans, asari and turians can't have their original pathfinder, neither should the salarians.[/sp] Fair's fair [editline]3rd April 2017[/editline] Also, I had Drack with me and I didn't want to run the risk of pissing him off
I have to imagine it's unintentional. The same lack of QA that allowed this to happen:
I thought it was some kind of sicknasty deathmask at first and was really disappointed when it turned out to be a bug.
[sp]I wouldn't call the only surviving original pathfinder expendable.[/sp]
[sp]But the game makes a whole point that the first wave of pathfinders are clueless as to how to actually perform their duties, and the second wave through adversity is inherently better at it. Also reminder that SAM transmits all relevant data to the new pathfinder and gets to keep its own experience to instruct the new one with it, so actually allowing the job to move down to someone younger and more capable is literally nothing but good.[/sp]
I'm still confused why they went through the effort of making that prop Avenger variant without making it an actual gun.
I really hope they DLC more weapons into the game. Where's my boy the N7 Typhoon ?
If only the Harrier would come back, without all the stupid Cerberus logos on it
Memory 6 was fucking awesome. [sp]Seeing Alec's death through his eyes, that was fucking powerful.[/sp]
Actually, scratch that, it wouldn't make sense
Initiative decides to make full auto version of the Mattock because the angry green bonemen aren't going to shoot themselves Bam you get the harrier back
[sp]I wouldn't call the only surviving original pathfinder expendable.[/sp]
Did you miss the part where your dad tells you exactly that? Salarians believe in the Great Wheel, Salarians also believe females know more than they ever let on. [sp]Both happened.[/sp]
Memory 6 was fucking awesome. [sp]Seeing Alec's death through his eyes, that was fucking powerful.[/sp]
That whole questline was pretty cool, annoying collectibles aside.
Can you keep going after the endgame or are there some things I should wrap up first?
You can keep going. [sp]Although you when you got Meridian you're inside the Hyperion and can't go outside, nor can you go to other areas on the Hyperion, you're in the area where Alec's quarters are and SAM Node.[/sp]
The Soned is fucking awesome
Question: What happens to the [sp]Angaran AI if you let her be with Sam post-game? She's not in SAM node anymore.[/sp] Also [sp] Pathfinder Raeka is like one of the few named female Salarian characters, couldn't let her go to waste, female Salarians are so cute! [/sp]
Well, SAM just [sp]fucking killed me.[/sp] That was completely unexpected. I'm starting to enjoy Archon more as a villain, although I definitely feel like he's one of the weaker ones for the series. [sp]Hearing him dissect everything good about the milky way species was interesting. Especially since his flippant dismissal of the Asari as inherently lesser, compared to the Angara's reaction of "wow they're just like the Kett!"[/sp] All-in-all that was a really cool mission. I decided to [sp]let Drack's scouts die, because I honest to god forgot any mention of them so far, and the Salarian Pathfinder seemed capable and confident.[/sp] I take it from the email dump I received after the quest that [sp]The Journey To Meridian[/sp] is the last "main plot" mission in the game, and I should do all the loyalty missions and side content before heading there? Especially since I still have the [sp]Turian Ark[/sp] to find. [editline]4th April 2017[/editline]
I have to imagine it's unintentional. The same lack of QA that allowed this to happen:
This creepy fucker follows you around with absolutely no explanation, until you get to the [sp]little Turian camp where the Spectre dude is.[/sp] It's REALLY weird.

I know we're not allowed to promote or admit to or support warez but is discussing it alright as long as it's in relation to the game?
Um no? Anyway, just beat the game. Yeah, it's far from perfect in a lot of respects, but I enjoyed it.
