So here's another unfinished game i'm presenting, man is it rough; I wouldn't even consider it an alpha version, but here's what I got. The plan is to make a life sim kind of, more like StickRPG, but on a bigger map, with more detail to things to do while adding new things. [b]Overview[/b]
Alright so the way I plan on making this is simple, you've got a [I]couple[/I] of needs you have to fulfill, or bad stuff will happen, lets say your hunger reaches 0, your overall HP will start to decrease when this happens, it shouldn't be a surprise that when your HP reaches 0 your character will die. If you die, you're dead, you'll have to restart, that's life.
Additionally to your needs bars you have a Stress bar, this is filled when doing stressful activities, such as working. I considered making the player actually flip burgers or alike but figured to stick with the tried and true, click button, time passes and you get cash. With this is your sleep bar, which will go down, so scurry to bed once it's down too low, or you'll wake up next morning in a gutter. There will be ways to cope with a low sleep bar, such as coffee or energy drinks.
[b]Jobs[/b]
As mentioned jobs will be a means of income, which you'll need to buy stuff, there will be some more options when it comes to your job, as in StickRPG you can get two jobs, with only one leading to promotions. What I'm thinking is a few jobs to choose from, maybe 3 or 4, with each having atleast two promotional opportunities. Depending on the quality of the job, your stress level will increase, say if you're working a shit job, it will be more stressful then a decent job.
There will also be an option to skip your break, which will net you more cash, but be more stressful. There will be outside means to drain your stress, like going to the bar and getting a brew or two, side effects will follow. You can also get in some bar fights, if won you'll be able to take the guys wallet.
There is a possibility of multiple endings, which will take into account how much money is in your bank account, how much you earn a year, and probably the assets of your house.
I think I've covered everything basically, maybe I forgot to mention drugs for stress, anyways [b]comment on the concept, not the shoddy programming, because I'm aware of how shoddy it really is, it'll be fixed.[/b]
Anyways, rate optimistic.
It looks fantastic and I like the idea of it but it has been done before.
Now, if you made it multiplayer and like this you'd have given it some longevity :D

With the jobs, I say they should be difficult after maybe 1 or 2 promotions. Then maybe on crime jobs like selling drugs or racketeering be simple but dangerous and require strategy along the way.

That would be difficult to code and take a while, maybe in the future after this is completed I could consider making an online version.

The game has a lot of bugs. I managed to get stuck on the couch and you can't walk diagonally, which I find annoying.
It looks good other than that. The room transitions are well done.
Sweet, I loved StickRPG, so another game like that is going to be awesome.

Thanks, I'd like to have someone do it for me, but anyone who offers does like 2 graphics then I never hear from them again, takes a lot longer to do a game that way.

Alright, update here to show i'm not just blowing smoke, all the needs work and gradually go down, you can now work at the burger shack which is south of where you come out of the house, and you can munch on a burger if you'd like, which of course fills your hunger meter. Oh and I got the day/night system working with the clock, so once it's past 6 it turns to night, neat eh?
It's still covered in bugs as an African child usually is, please disregard them, they'll be fixed, and I'm also wondering if I should cut down on a few needs, like I'm not sure if hunger AND thirst are both necessary. Maybe some better suggestions for needs etc. Have at it.

The game looks great, but it's still filled with bugs. You can go through the walls and walk on the objects, like the couch or the TV. I'd try those fix those before doing anything else.
Oh, and the clock said it was 7 am, while it was 7pm over here.

Well if you mean do I use the forums, then no, I've checked up on Stick RPG 2 over the years, and it is a shame, I don't know why they'd put such a highly anticipated sequel on the bottom of their to-do list. Guess it just leaves more room for me, har har.
Your sis better though, you should make a fully working weapon system incase we want to rob some place, like a bank, and the mafia sounds fun. And if you do that maybe add a balance where you could take a job a a cop and try to stop crime? Idk it's your game I just felt like giving a idea out there.
