An investigation was immediately initiated regarding a suspect posting comments on his Facebook page he intended on shooting people at a local college campus. The threats were deemed credible and the Norco Special Enforcement Team deputies along with detectives assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station Investigations Bureau, initiated a detailed and expansive investigation.

Deputies recovered a loaded AR-15, two loaded handguns, and a large amount of ammunition from McBain’s bedroom.
Press Enterprise I have a few friends who go to Norco, glad this dude was caught before he had the chance to do anything. Have to wonder how many more of these we're going to see, with possible copycatting going on in relation to the Florida shooting.
And this is why you go around actually, properly, following up these incidents before they come to fruition. Anything else is just shutting the barn door after the horse is gone.
Shame that it takes an actual shooting for these kinds of threats to be taken seriously. Either this will lead to more prevented shootings, or shooters will learn from this and just not give any warning.
Good they caught him, also lol I saw this article on the source site Crestline woman says she saw Sasquatches in Lake Arrowhead, sues state to get species recognized
Man they're really reaching for readers now, that article is 1000x longer than I expected.
Good lord you're right I just thought the headline was funny and read just a little bit, the article's huge :v:
Good, every threat needs to be thoroughly investigated. More laws won't do jack if we aren't enforcing the current ones.
Good, every threat needs to be thoroughly investigated. More laws won't do jack if we aren't enforcing the current ones.
the fact that the Parkland kid being reported wasn't taken seriously/not investigated is both extremely depressing and infuriating at the same time
Fuck, my wife goes there... That'd be the last thing we need after that San Bernardino shit a few years back.
The post says he's already a felon so those firearms were owned illegally. Maybe we can learn something useful if they figure out where he got them from.
He kind of looks like an older, scruffier Cody from Cody's Lab
He kind of looks like an older, scruffier Cody from Cody's Lab
Oh Lord, don't say that. He'll get his channel locked again
Thank goodness some people like this don’t have the sense to not loudly vocalize their plans to everyone.

i think it is really weird that we talk about school shooters like they are inhuman forces of nature [editline]21st February 2018[/editline] save a life, hug a school shooter http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=1732518&page=1

We just lump them all in the "White male" category but never talk about why young white boys have the urge to murder everyone around them. Even in the article, the teacher said there was no indication to her that something was wrong. Each day I am becoming more convinced this is a symptom of a societal problem everyone knows yet doesn't want to talk about...
Yooooo fuck that's my home town. I have some friends who's siblings go to that school. Norco doesn't really have any 'bad' parts of town in the traditional sense. It's fairly rural. Big parts of the town have horse trails instead of sidewalks and there are McMansions next to shanty shacks all over. If anything Norco is like a slice of Kentucky got dropped in SoCal.
