Wow that crafting system is ludacris. The game requring you to obtain crafting matrial via the loot crates that may or may not actually have crafting matrial. The amount of unnecessary griding that is required just to unlock new guns and attachments is completely off putting. This is a pay to win system in my opinion, seeing how you can either purchase lootcrates or spend a considerable amount of time earning credits from games.

The beta’s lock boxes are not representative of the final game, it even says in the text on the UI. Slightly better on the random nature of the progression, but still pay to win. Still, they cocked up if it takes a leak to get this info and only have themselves to blame.

Good. People should get pissed about this. Battlefront 2 is, from what I've played, a genuinely fun game. If it wasn't for this bullshit it could have been great. It's good to see people sending a message that shit like this isn't something we'll stand for.

Disappointed, especially since I actually enjoyed playing the beta. My only hope is that the backlash from this ends up being too big for them to ignore.

Can we as an overall community at least attempt to take a stance on this? Please don't use the "it could be worse/At least it's not..." argument, that was used last time, and the time before. EA has already been trying to get away with more and more each time with their sports games, they're just pushing what people will accept just [i]that little bit[/i] that you think "it's still fine" but by the time you notice it's too late.

Didn't buy the first one and I won't buy this one. Play the original Battlefront 2 now that it's back if you want your fix. You cannot support this kind of behavior, or else it'll keep happening.
