Pop star Taylor Swift has won a sexual assault case against ex-radio DJ David Mueller, who she said had groped her at a 2013 concert.
He assaulted her by grabbing her bottom beneath her skirt during a photo shoot, a jury in Denver, Colorado, found.
She was awarded a symbolic $1 in damages that she had sought.
Lol, if you haven't been following this TLDR the guy got to meet Taylor Swift through his radio DJ job, but he got fired after she accused him of groping her during the meeting. He then sued her for $3 million, but his suit got thrown out and she successfully countersued him for the assault for $1, just to get on record that he did it. Dude fucked up. Here's a court sketch of him during the trial

I think the best part about this is the fact she sought a literal $1.00, more than anything.
She wasn't suing to get anything out of him, but literally just to tell him to fuck off and permanently mark him for it.
That's brilliant. I love it.
Good. No one should get away with groping someone
If that isn't a symbolic $1 to say fuck you I don't know what is.
Maybe a dollar that says fuck you on it.
3 million vs a dollar
And the dollar is worth so much more here
That dollar will be framed.
Great response by Swift.

Damn she should of sued for investment money for those organizations.
I'm interested in the arguments. How exactly do you prove that a guy groped your butt once? I'm actually curious.

He was photographed in the act.

Well that sure makes it easy! Really an ideal outcome, then.

do you just assume there's a special legal process for butt stuff as opposed to other legal claims?

Butt stuff is some serious stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Taylor was actually dragging him and his lawyers through the mud during the trial, it was hilarious
