Special forces and militaries across the world seem to try to out-do each other in questionably dangerous ways, like yes its a confidence and compatency thing but still putting people into harm's way unnessicarily is just dumb and wasteful especially in special forces where you've invested hundreds if not millions into training. Our unit ended up making fun of him about it so we started calling him "Cobra Blood" to mock him.

Honestly this is nothing new. Soldiers are taught jungle survival, and drinking snake blood is one of the lessons, it saves lives when you have little to no water. Special forces have an air of mistery around them. The goal of these shows is to keep that image
