Breaking Bad is an AMC television drama series created by Vince Gilligan. Set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the story focuses on Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer. Living with a pregnant wife and a teenage son with cerebral palsy, he decides to "break bad" and turn to a life of crime by selling crystal methamphetamine with his former student Jesse Pinkman, in order to secure his family's financial future before he dies. Five seasons in, the show has received critical acclaim for its writing and cinematography, and in my opinion it is one of the best drama series of the 2000s.

Yo if you're reading the thread but haven't watched the show yet, just know there's a ton of spoiler talk. I'd get caught up before you continue reading.
spoiler tags would fix that wouldnt it?
So lets post some legitimate speculations as to what the ending is going to be.
Blaze of glory or not?
so I'm watching parks and rec and

meth bidness in pawnee
I honestly think the best ending would be [sp] Hank has nearly caught up to Walt, he has evidence to arrest him, telling the office so his career is destroyed like the previous Asac before him, and then Walt just suddenly dies of the cancer that has come back but he told nobody about. Walt would get the last laugh. [/sp]
Walt killing everyone and becoming the head of the cartel and 5 more seasons would be great.
What if
[sp]Hank just remembered he left the oven on and that wasnt his reaction to the book[/sp]
"Walter, We need to cook!"

He's been in a lot of things. Castle, Dexter, CSI, and ER to name a few. In a movie he played a guy named "Dr. Eisenberg."
I was watching this fan thingy, this guy did some research on Jonathan Banks. [sp]Turns out he played a role in a movie where he robbed a train, like in Dead Freight, and he also played the same role he did as the radio man.[/sp]
Pretty cool, huh.

[sp] I like the "walt gets the last laugh idea" involving his suicide in some way. I mean, if the main point of the series is for Walt to turn into the antagonist, it wouldn't be fitting to have him live, but no one would be happy if the series ended badly for walt. Something involving suicide/walts dead that involves walt 'getting the last laugh' would be awesome, imo. [/sp]
Walt killing everyone and becoming the head of the cartel and 5 more seasons would be great.
This as a 'what if scenario' made as a walking dead telltale style game, book or some other medium would be awesome.
I still like Walt even though he's a crazy son of a bitch who [sp] SHOT MIKE :((([/sp]
bike was a pretty cool character, but i kinda expected he would leave the show soon someway
bike was a pretty cool character
I agree entirely, they made the kid riding it look so good when he drove up and waved
I still like Walt even though he's a crazy son of a bitch who [sp] SHOT MIKE :((([/sp]
That was the point I [sp]stopped trying to justify his actions.[/sp]
Do we think the next half is going to start off almost exactly where we left off, with Hank at Walt's place having just [sp]found out[/sp], or do you think it's going to start like a week later?

I hope S05E09 starts at the very same point S05E08 ended.
"There's nothing good, there's not going to be redemption," Cranston said of his character - chemistry teacher-turned-meth cook Walter White.

No. That would be quite shitty and predictable.

Jesus, they shouldn't hint at stuff like that. It makes the wait even worse. :(
No. That would be quite shitty and predictable.

How in the fuck is [sp] the cancer coming back predictable? how do you expect him to die? by a unicorn riding a leprechaun using the bible?[/sp]
How in the fuck is [sp] the cancer coming back predictable? how do you expect him to die? by a unicorn riding a leprechaun using the bible?[/sp]
[sp]Because Walt being under the threat of death through cancer is anything but new. The thought of it returning was implanted in 5x04 through Skyler. So it wouldn't be all that unpredictable. [/sp]
Anyone think suicide may be an option?
How in the fuck is [sp] the cancer coming back predictable? how do you expect him to die? by a unicorn riding a leprechaun using the bible?[/sp]
[sp]He's coughing and taking meds at the beginning of the S05E01. Plus, basically before Season 3 everyone was sure that if he will die - it will be cancer, sooner or later.[/sp]
And in Season 4 [sp]he had that scan that he hesitated and was all suspicious when he said "Everything's great."[/sp]
It's so completely obvious [sp]the cancer is coming back. It's been obvious since Season 4. That was the whole core of the show originally.[/sp]
[sp]so why does he have a full head of hair and beard at the age of 52 then? one year from where the first half of season 5 leaves off.[/sp]
[sp]so why does he have a full head of hair and beard at the age of 52 then? one year from where the first half of season 5 leaves off.[/sp]
[sp]He stopped taking the chemotherapy treatments. The fact that his whole head of hair has grown back might suggest it's been months since he last took chemo.[/sp]
I ain't no doctor, though.
[sp]so why does he have a full head of hair and beard at the age of 52 then? one year from where the first half of season 5 leaves off.[/sp]
[sp]Cancer doesn't get rid of your hair, the only reason why people go bald is because chemo fucks up the way your hair grows.[/sp]
[sp]Metastasized cancer from his lungs to his brain, causing his personality to change - thus giving reason to his further digging into the criminal underworld?[/sp]
I dunno.
