The last flight of a new capsule? What? Does that mean they're refurbishing them from now on?

For living 30 minutes away from KSC, I have never actually been there to see a shuttle/rocket launch before... I think I might change that [del]on Sunday[/del] someday.

There's very slim chance of a launch that day with weather as it is.

Press kit is up: [QUOTE]SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will launch a Dragon spacecraft to low-Earth orbit to deliver critical cargo to and from the International Space Station for NASA. SpaceX is targeting launch of its twelfth Commercial Resupply Services mission (CRS-12) from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The instantaneous launch window is on Monday, August 14 at 12:31 p.m. EDT, or 16:31 UTC. Dragon will separate from Falcon 9’s second stage about 10 minutes after liftoff and attach to the space station on August 16. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. [editline]13th August 2017[/editline] Weather is 70% GO currently. For those of you not following along this is a somewhat significant flight as well. It's the first flight of the new and upgraded Block 4 first stage, the main feature being higher thrust capability from the engines.

[QUOTE=Bradyns;52572255]Hasn't been one for the last few launches..[/QUOTE] I've noticed. But is there a reason for that, or did it just not have enough viewers?
Liftoff! [editline]14th August 2017[/editline] And Landed!
That looked like one of the most gentle landings yet.
Marvelous landing! Lets hope they secure it before the storm.
[QUOTE=Bradyns;52572297]Marvelous landing! Lets hope they secure it before the storm.[/QUOTE] Thunder is already rolling here just 30-40mi west. They've got some good time before it hits.
