In his 2013 memoir “Coreyography,” he detailed how, when he and his friend and co-star Corey Haim were the biggest child stars of the 1980s, they were allegedly sexually assaulted by men in the industry. According to Feldman, Haim was raped when he was 11. — The “Lost Boys” star never revealed the names of the men allegedly responsible, however, and since the dam broke on the Weinstein story, the actor-turned-musician has come under tremendous pressure on social media to expose the guilty parties. He’s listened to the pleading, and he’s ready to come forward — but not quite yet. In an emotional video he posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Feldman said he wants to make a movie about his experience. It will be the “most honest and true depiction of child abuse ever portrayed,” he said. He plans to direct, produce and self-distribute it — “with your donations.” He started an Indiegogo campaign for $10 million that will be used for a legal team and security for him and his family, he said, plus funds to create the film. “Right off the bat I can name six names,” Feldman promised, “one of them who’s still very powerful today.” He also said he can show a link between pedophilia and one of the major studios.
Washington Post of this article That was on Thursday, since then he was arrested for a drug charge, and Corey Haim's mother says that this is just part of a long con (from the Hollywood Reporter)
Feldman’s would-be whistleblowing isn’t sitting well, however, with Judy Haim. The mother of late actor Corey Haim — Feldman’s starring castmate in a slew of 1980s films and, according to his 2013 memoir Coreyography, a fellow sex abuse victim during their Hollywood youth — believes it’s a bogus exercise. “He’s been talking about revealing the names of his and other abusers for seven years, since my son died,” says Haim's mother, who has tangled with Feldman in the past about his contention that Haim, who died in 2010 at 38 of pneumonia, was repeatedly abused as a child by multiple individuals. (She’s convinced that a molestation incident involving her son occurred on a single occasion, at the hands of one man.) “Now he wants $10 million to do it? Come on. It’s a long con. He’s a scam artist. If he was serious about this, he’d share the information he has with the police.” Judy adds that her understanding of the overall situation, gleaned over time, is that there is no all-powerful pedophilic ring at the studio level to uncover, despite Feldman’s hype, but likely rather a series of isolated incidents involving much lower-level individuals, often linked to film set relationships. “It’s disrespectful to sexual assault survivors and their loved ones in and out of the industry to get their hopes up about uncovering a massive conspiracy, because he will not name names — ever,” she adds. “And if these people really are out there, and potentially [still] a danger, why wouldn’t he want to name them right now?” Judy believes the timing of the IndieGoGo campaign — shortly after a Louisiana drug bust Feldman has described as a “shakedown” and the accompanying breakup of his band a week ago — should be clear clues as to his motivation. “I don’t understand how the press that’s now giving him all of this attention isn’t getting it,” she says. “It’s all a distraction.”
jesus fucking christ this dude is beyond delusional I don't think he is lying about pedophilia in hollywood, but asking for 10 million for a documentary, lawyers and personal security? I think he is exploiting the situation for money. Else he would just go out with the names of the people involved like everyone else are doing, instead of having to say it in film form.
This is the perfect time in hollywood news to just come out and give all the information he has. Making a movie makes this seem really scammy.

EDIT: Somehow missed the drug charge, which throws the motivation into question. Still not opposed to filming a doc about child abuse in the industry, since those stories can easily be lost in the sea of incidents involving adult victims.
Mentally ill and needs money.
I've always felt kinda bad for Feldman. He was certainly at the ass-end of a lot of this sexual-abuse stuff all through his life, as a child actor, being later implicated as a possible victim in Michael Jackson allegations no less -- he's had it rough, and I have no doubt he knows his shit when it comes to pedophilia in hollywood. But he seems kind of...unhinged, now. Like it's gotten to him a bit too much. Paranoid delusions, desperation, I don't know -- maybe a mix of it all. He's ill, and it's more a display of sadness than greed or attention.
i thought this dude died

[editline]1st November 2017[/editline] Wait is it actually supposed to be a documentary? The campaign is pretty vague.

(Maybe I'm dumb and that's what you're referring to.)
Classic Corey, bandwagoning for attention most likely. If it was anyone else I'd take it seriously but Feldman's honestly a joke at this point.
