Last month, Idan defended her decision to pose with Gandelsman following criticism she received back home, saying it was an expression of a desire for peace and not a show of support for the government of Israel. She added that the photo of the two Miss Universe contestants, which she did not remove from her Instagram account, “does not signal support for the government of Israel and does not mean I agree or accept its policies in the Arab homeland.” Idan went on to apologize “to all those who consider [the picture] harmful to the Palestinian cause.”
Imagine being so entrenched in anti semitism that simply a photo of an Iraqi and Israeli is enough to make you want to kill someone unrelated to it.
It must be infuriating for her to need to argue that she's not "in support of Israel". Ffs it's like people out there don't even understand the concept of wanting to make peace.

She is from a culture that stones women to death for being raped etc what did she expect? one for modelling at all and two for posing with a Israeli. I feel for her I really do but the truth is of course this was going to happen, how could it of been any other way?
I am rapidly losing respect for their perspective
perhaps people in the arab world have also lost respect for the israeli perspective on palestine I'm not defending outrage/violence towards israelis but it's easy for you to say "i dont like their view on it" when you're not someone that has suffered due to decisions the israeli government makes

So don't pretend like it's caused by Israeli action since then.
