It looks absolutely beautiful! Space research is really advancing, and cannot wait for what's in store for the rest of the year! Note: Not sure how reliable this source is, but if you google it, it's pretty much all over the place. I just found this was good because it shows you the video of it, and I couldn't find it on the NASA site for some reason (I'd imagine it's probably on there too though!).
Damn, Jupiter's got some crazy electric blue auroras.

Uranus is looking pretty good!
Glowing rings of Ur:ass:
The aurora's on Jupiter are several time the size of the entire earth and that blows my mind
I wonder how they look like from inside the planet

Putting a strobing glowstick up your butt does the same effect.
You could fit between six and nine earths in the radius of the one on Jupiter. Think about that for a second.
I wonder how they look like from inside the planet
You want to take a look inside Uranus?
You could fit between six and nine earths in the radius of the one on Jupiter. Think about that for a second.
You've lost me
Curse the asshole who decided Uranus was a good name for anything.
Can i clear that up with a cream?

I always pronnounced Uranus as "Yur-ron-is" to make it less awkward in conversation.
This thread is daily reminder that no matter how maturely I think of myself, anything to do with Uranus still sends me into spasm of childish giggles.
I always pronnounced Uranus as "Yur-ron-is" to make it less awkward in conversation.
But then that just draws attention to "Yur-anus" because you said it differently. Like they'll think "he's avoiding saying Uranus" and giggle anyways. I think there's no getting out of it. :v:
I always pronnounced Uranus as "Yur-ron-is" to make it less awkward in conversation.
The correct pronunciation is more like urine-is.
One day we'll get a planet with a name that is equal to uranus.
One day we'll get a planet with a name that is equal to uranus.
Urvagina?

Have the pictures been released yet? Cause the ones in the news article does not show any Aurora.
The correct pronunciation is more like urine-is.
Urine is what?
Have the pictures been released yet? Cause the ones in the news article does not show any Aurora.
They do though..?

what does this mean for humanity, i mean we can't just allow other planets to show off like this
