Yeah he was going to release an upcoming album called "Chuck" later this year.

The album was seemingly recorded back in 2016. It was just scheduled for release in 2017. So hopefully it will end up on the market later this year.
Chuck will never ever be forgotten. He had such an influence later blues / rock music

I think he was to old for that, but as I recall he did play nightly at a local bar in Saint Louis before his death.

Really though it is a shame, he has had a massive impact upon music that is still felt today, but he had a good innings, 90 is nothing to be sniffed at.
The man lived so long and had such a long career that he inspired a generation of artists, and also managed to outlive a good number of them.
Damn good run.

Regardless of his achievements and music, the first thing I think of when I hear his name is "MM, AND YOU CAN SMELL MY FART".
