Is it a remake, a re-release? What is this "special" thing? Where is your source? What the fuck is going on?
George Lucas, stop whoring out your mov- Wait. That wasn't a George Lucas movie.
I hope they'll do a little updating on the CGI. It was great for its time, but could use some polishing.
Is it a remake, a re-release? What is this "special" thing? Where is your source? What the fuck is going on?
They're just re-releasing in 3D
Sweet,i have to see this
George Lucas, stop whoring out your mov- Wait. That wasn't a George Lucas movie.
He directed/produced like half of it while Spielberg was doing Schindler's List though. Anyways, this is my favorite movie of all time, they'd better not fuck it up. :/
The 'special' thing I was talking about is Jurassic Park IV, which is being released sometime next year also
Oh cool, I get to see another of my favorite movies in theaters.
Forget the 3D, I'd love to see one of my favorite movies in theaters. I wasn't alive to see it on theatrical release originally.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT AAAAAHHHHHH jurassic park is one of my favorite movies shit yeah
Not pleased that it's going to be 3D but I've always wanted to see it in theaters. Also, I don't know how I feel about a JP4... JP2 and 3 were pretty terrible.
I liked JP2.
Steven Spielberg said in December that he didn't want to convert the other two movies just the original and only "Jurassic Park" Spielberg told MTV “I've always said 'Jurassic Park,' the first one, would be really good post-converted in 3-D," he said of his 1993 blockbuster. "I think James Cameron has done the greatest 3-D in history with 'Avatar': I don't think anything has surpassed James Cameron's 'Avatar' in terms of the 3-D experience, beyond the fact I love the movie so much, and so I figure that James is going to teach all of us a lesson how to post-convert. If we follow his precepts, more films will be post-converted, but the only movie I'm interested in post-converting is the first 'Jurassic.’ " As you may recall, Jurassic Park was a major groundbreaker for special effects, blowing open the door wide for the CGI revolution, and it should be a trip to see what it will all look like in 3D. Although I haven't watched the franchise in years, I'm willing to bet the first Jurassic Park still holds up, and should do well with today's audiences. Besides that lets take a look at this 3d
I liked JP2.
Well, it was entertaining but the whole animal activist angle they did with it was just really stupid. Nevermind that Jeff Goldblum's daughter used gymnastics to thwart a raptor. And JP3 was just... we don't talk about that.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park was mostly a horrible adaption of Michael Crichton's The Lost World which the novel had a better plot and characters. I read the book, the only closest thing to the book in that movie is the Trailer scene by my perspective.
I would kill for a proper adaptation of The Lost World.
The 'special' thing I was talking about is Jurassic Park IV, which is being released sometime next year also
Wait what? Where are you getting this information from? Last time I checked, JPIV was still in development hell.
Wait what? Where are you getting this information from? Last time I checked, JPIV was still in development hell.
Joe Johnston is supposed to be doing a new trilogy. Also, 3 > LW
The 'special' thing I was talking about is Jurassic Park IV, which is being released sometime next year also
I doubt there is any truth in this
If you guys think your right here's some recent activity...... At the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, Spielberg confirmed in front of at least 6,000 spectators that preparations for Jurassic Park IV were in progress, with a story ready and a script being written. Spielberg said that it would be possibly released "within the next two or three years", with a representative from Universal saying 2013 would be the preferred deadline for completion. In late October 2011 Jack Horner stated, "that a script has been written and is waiting to be transformed into a film". He also said, "They’ve already brought dinosaurs back... so how could they make the dinosaurs scarier?”, stating that it will be about genetic tampering. On October 26th, Steven Spielberg confirmed that the script is being written. About Jurassic Park IV, he said, "The screenplay is being written right now by Mark Protosevich. I'm hoping that will come out in the next couple of years. We have a good story. We have a better story for four than we had for three..." In January 2012, Spielberg confirmed that he would not be directing the film, opting instead to be a producer.
JP4 has been rumored for fucking ages now, until it gets behind the camera I won't believe anything. A Justice League movie was fully written, cast, and about to shoot before it fell apart, so for big projects like this I find the safest bet is to wait until it's shooting. It could still slip back to development hell.

I could still watch JP2 and 3 and enjoy them, but they're kind of a waste of time compared to the first.
I actually really enjoyed JP. Sure, it has flaws but it's still entertaining. Loved the whole "humans meet dinosaurs", as in a much bigger scale compared to JP1. JP3 on the other hand I did not enjoy at all.
Cool. Seriously there needs to be more movies with dinosaurs in them, I rarely ever see Dinosaurs in anything anymore.
Has anyone else noticed that Sam Niel ends up touching the girls ass a fair bit in the first movie.
He directed/produced like half of it while Spielberg was doing Schindler's List though. George Lucas didn't do squat, he supervised the sound effects team while Spielberg was gone, and he's listed only as a 'Special Thanks'. Quote your source.
Has anyone else noticed that Sam Niel ends up touching the girls ass a fair bit in the first movie.
You also get to see her nipple. Jurassic park is a secret child pornography ring.

Quote your source.
Wow, way to overreact over some shitty trivia thing, but I believe it was mentioned in some behind the scenes kinda video I saw like a month ago. Have fun looking it up, because I'm not gonna bother.
