it looks ok i guess
who here came for harry styles
spooky stukas
I read the title as "Drunk Kirk" and I am thoroughly disappointed.....Nah, kidding. Looks like a Nolan film and judging from his past films I bet this one is gonna deal with the Super Natural instead.
spooky stukas
Yeah man that shit was scary. Just sitting on a bathtub in the middle of the ocean approaching Hitler's Atlantic wall, when suddenly you start hearing this. It's low at first, but then it get's louder and louder, and by then you're just praying to god that it's not aiming for the bathtub you and your mates are on. [editline]4th August 2016[/editline] Also I like Dark Knight, and I like historical films, so I'm looking forward to this one.
judging from his past films I bet this one is gonna deal with the Super Natural instead.
nah it's supposed to be a pretty straight-forward realistic war film from what i've seen and heard.
I wonder if this is just going to be about the evacuation or also the fairly critical land battle and efforts of British and French forces to safeguard Dunkirk I also wonder if we'll see anything from the German side
Looks cool. Will want to see more to get a feel for what the film will actually be like
nah it's supposed to be a pretty straight-forward realistic war film from what i've seen and heard.
That's what they want you to think. But nah really I wouldn't mind if that was the case.
Man, I love me some Jericho Trumpets.
who here came for harry styles
Very interested to see what he can do. Nolan's not a dipshit, the lad must be decent
Can't think of a recent, high-budget WWII film off the top of my head. Good revival time.
Can't think of a recent, high-budget WWI film off the top of my head. Good revival time.
It's a WWII movie though?
Can't think of a recent, high-budget WWI film off the top of my head. Good revival time.
Do you even know what the Dunkirk evacuation was? Hitler had taken over france, tons of british soldiers and civilians, literally anyone with a boat, to go rescue the soldiers left stranded on the opposite side of the english channel.

And while i'm here, i want this to be fucking brilliant cause i love me some war films and Dunkirk was a fucking amazing miracle after a monumental cock up, i love the 50's film on it with John Mils, if it's anything like that it'll be fantastic

Saw this tonight at the theater, it was fucking excellent on a big screen with speakers. I heard several people whispering "What was that?" in the theater but it was captivating.
Nolans movies always have great trailers
I wonder what it will be rated. He hasn't done a rated R movie since Memento and Insomnia.
Just learned that Hoyte van Hoytema is DPing again on this one, kind of sad for Wally Pfister really For those who don't know, Nolan's longtime Director of Photography was Wally Pfister, but he turned down Interstellar to direct his own movie for the first time. Unfortunately the movie was Transcendence and it sucked dick. Now Nolan has replaced him with Hoyte van Hoytema, while Wally is stuck working on shit.
Interesting choice to pick Harry Styles, but I trust Nolan's judgement so I'm curious to see how well he performs. also tom hurdy woo
was the first guy to look up at the stuka harry styles

At least not anything substantial or accurate.

You can clearly hear the organ in the right channel still.
Nolans movies always have great trailers
inception literally changed movie trailers forever and it makes me fucking froth at the mouth don't get me wrong, I love inception, I just hate hollywood. inception the booms/waahs made sense because it pertained to the fucking plot. no other movie / trailer since has had their dumbass boom/waahs tied to anything in the movie.
It's the first video to pop up when you type Stuka Siren in. At least a good sounding video of it.
How come no one did any recordings on the actual siren?
How come no one did any recordings on the actual siren?
I'm sure they exist but for the most part they were too busy dying or avoiding being dead because they were pissing their pants because of a Stuka attack.
