HIV-infected educator indicted on 206 counts, charged with abusing dozens of children - Sensationalist Headlines

Even if we can treat HIV he still could have completely ruined their lives. Imagine if he hadn't gotten caught and these kids ended up HIV positive. Now because it's unlikely you get your kids checked for HIV on any semblance of a regular basis it's possible it'd progress into AIDS. Shit imagine going to the doctor because your kid is sick and they can't figure out why, your kid is dying and in the clutch DR. house style they somehow figure out your 11 year old kid has HIV. That's terrifying.

Which, by the way, goes up to life imprisonment. There's a reason the CDC recommended states like California to relax their HIV-specific laws. They were redundant, and believed to cause more harm than good.
