God I hate when games ask me to use my cellphone for anything. That was a major downside in GTA V for me. Never used it, but just that it asked me to do it from time to time really made me irrationally angry :v:

If I have to plug my shit into an entirely separate device and use a splitter to get game audio too, what stops me from just using discord instead?

Who even uses voice chat anymore? Most games nowadays provide ways to communicate without it.

You would think that any sane minded engineer would know better than to daisy chain multiple devices to perform one action. But here we are, all this for just voice chat! Here's a better idea for what to do with that phone, that you've daisy chained to your Switch.. 1. Pick it up 2. use Facetime / Skype 3. Call up your friends 4. Set up a lobby and play the game - Now you have the next best thing to Voice Chat! :chem101:
