"New anime presented by crunchyroll" 19 shows on steam store currently.
The anime streaming service Crunchyroll has just surprised users of the massive PC storefront and gaming client Steam by making several series available to purchase.
Not only can those with a Steam account purchase the likes of Free! and Berserk, but last year’s Ace Attorney anime adaptation is available as well.
Nice Nanbaka, they just need to add cards for anime and boom, so much sales.
But... why not just go to Crunchyroll directly? :v:
and they had to release kancolle on steam of all things :disgust:

We've already got anime games on Steam and i need all of my waifus in one place.
Now we need fansubs on steam greenlight
So can I go around gifting people anime episodes now?
Boy I cant wait to show off all the borderline softcore porn anime I watch to all my gaming steam buddies!
When you thought steam couldn't get even worse than the greenlight situation
the avatars in this thread are a joy

You do realize that it simply adds a anime section under videos and that you can basically ignore everything by adding anime to the tags that shall be filtered out?
And who cares if it's anime. Movies are also already there. Audiobooks would be cool as well.
Fuck yeah, can't wait for low quality video and bad subs for my poorly written wish fulfillment shows with 1 dimensional characters and forced drama
Waifu Hunter is going to have a field day.
Steam already had Naruto for a while I thought.
Also I don't get why people are complaining about this.
Welp, I just gifted someone the first episode of Free!
there is no god
With the prominence of anime games and the arrival of movies, it was only a matter of time before we started getting seasons as well.
I wonder what's up with GITS pricing, though. $3 per episode rather than a lump sum like the other series. Licensing hurdles?

Gift someone a 11th/12th episode, so they must watch the rest of it to get its worth
When you thought steam couldn't get even worse than the greenlight situation
Well they are shutting down Greenlight and this was only way to keep up the trash quota up.

I really feel like Steam is merely trying to buy into the video craze and I really feel like they shouldn't try and be an all in one store
there's no actual use of having videos on steam. Hell, in some cases its massively overpriced when you can just watch it streamed on some other site

Crunchyroll really does have the worst subs.
Anime will dominate the PC markets!
all seasons of bleach for about $20 each
oh man what a steal

Could be worse. Other long running shows with 10+ seasons cost 50-60 eu as physical.

Physical is one thing. Collecting them could at least be justifiable.
Digital prices though fucking haha no thanks
What's the point if there's no Dragon Ball Super?
Because it's about animated series. The sub par flash like animation of Super doesn't really count.
As long as it doesn't end up like the current filter situation regarding VR games and Visual Novels(where they are not properly tagged, supposedly on purpose, and as such not filtered) people shouldn't complain as much. At worst you are forced to see it on the front page for a few days as its "new".

If Sword Art Online is there, gift them that.
