[quote]Two people were shot, one fatally, on a bus on the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday, police spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield said. The male shooting suspect is barricaded on the bus and tactical teams and negotiators are on the scene on Las Vegas Boulevard, which is closed between Flamingo Road and Harmon Avenue. No one else is believed to be on the bus, a double-decker with advertising wrapping on the windows that makes it difficult to see inside, police said during the hourslong standoff. What's this guy doing in Las Vegas if he doesn't know when to fold 'em? But seriosuly, this wouldn't be an ISIS copycat/terrorist if he shot two people in someplace crawling with pedestrians like Las Vegas, right? Aren't there a ton of pedestrians (and prostitutes) on every street? .
The strip has been pretty slow the past few years since the mob left, freemont street is where the real action happens nowadays. Tragic nonetheless.

Holy shit I got back from a business trip at the flamingo a couple days ago.
My family lives in Vegas.
Living in Vegas I can say this doesn't really happen on the norm. Especially where it was at. You'd expect to hear stuff like this happen in the parking lots/back alleys of freemont street. Not in the dead middle of the strip. It seems like this town is slowly but surely getting worse. Even now in the North West "LDS" territory there's reports of break ins every other night now.
