I was wondering if we can discuss business, marketing and whatever money related.
Feel free to post ideas on how to make money or what to sell.
This is not how you start a thread like that.

Because you're not going to want to be the half of the business that people don't like doing.
As for an idea, I've mentioned this before, but take up some web development and sell yourself from there.
I got a great business idea. I need you to give me $1000. I promise you will get $5000 back.

I'm starting a double degree of Business and Commerce at uni this year. Got my classes sorted out for semester one and I'm doing three commerce related classes and one business related one. Bad idea perhaps because I only did commerce in Year 9 at high school but did do Business Studies in 11 & 12 (top of the class too), and my business (aside from human resources) will be rusty come semester two.
You see this?

This is a new chest in DotA 2. This is how I am making small change for my Steam Wallet. When these chests first come out, they average at about 5-10 cents each (think of this like penny stocks only a bit less risky, and with fewer volume of trade). The last chest was the Lotus chest. A few weeks before the keys to open them were released, they sold no the market for about 2 cents at the cheapest but for about 10 cents on average. On February 6th, the new keys for these Lotus chests were released.
If you take a look at this graph.

You can see a spike in the price on February 7th. As a matter of fact, it doubled in its value from about 20 cents to the peak of 49 cents.
A few weeks before these chests went for about 12 cents. As seen below.

I only purchased a few chests at that time and made a tiny profit of about 10 cents since I was a little late to jump on the market. I think I went from about an initial 35 cents before investment to about 45 cents after investment. This was also a few days after the initial release of the keys so demand had already gone down quite a bit.
These NEW chests. Are going at 16 cents right now. I have invested about $1.50 into chests so far, averaging at about 7 cents per chest. They have already spiked up to a price of 16 cents in the last 12 hours. Early March is when the new keys for these chests are released. I expect to triple my investment at that time.
It's actually kinda stupid how much effort I'm putting into these stupid chests to make like $5.00 but to me it's kinda fun.
