If you could have a game created to your exact wants/needs, what would it include? Try to keep your answers within the current technological possibilities.
A sort of FPS or TPS where you command different elements of infantry, tanks, aircraft (probably helis and airstrikes) and such in single player in a Total War style campaign between battles. Sort of like a triple A Mount and Blade with better emphasis on tactics, graphics and strategy was put in place, and set in a futuristic era probably.
An exhaustive open world Star Wars game would be pretty cool. Grand Theft Wookie.
Nice ones so far. I'd really love to see DarkRP turned into a realistic, great graphics, GTA-esque game.
A game with the most amazing character/army/whatever customization you could think of. In-game scenario editors (like that of the AoE series)
Fuck Shit Up. That would be the best. If someone can find the original forum post for that idea I would thank you.
It would be the Facepunch boards and I get to beat up any poster I want and literally shower them in dumbs.

Something like, the leveling and skill trees of Borderlands 2, the dark humor of Fallout, and the graphics and multiplayer of GTA 5.
marvel ultimate alliance-style 5 player game with heavy customization features and amazing gameplay and graphics and everything
Something like, the leveling and skill trees of Borderlands 2, the dark humor of Fallout, and the graphics and multiplayer of GTA 5.
Sounds like perfection.
I've been dreaming of a good police simulator. SWAT 3 and SWAT 4 were good but something more on the street-side would be interesting. LA Noire was good but not exactly.
IRL the game with a full body control and oculus rift. Maybe I'd have the guts to do the things I want to in a game world.
A modern FPS with 90's design and graphics. I want an ugly, blocky, static-movement, hit-scan, carry two hundred weapons and still run like I just downed a pound of coke, shooter. (Bonus if it becomes so popular, it becomes mainstream again.) Realistic graphics and physics ruined games for me.
I have 5 dream games: I spiritual successor to Trespasser that embodies everything Trespasser should have been. A post-apocolyptic RPG that combined all the best elements of games like Fallout (the Bethesda-created ones), STALKER, and one or two other games whose names escape me for the moment. A standalone Predator game where you're given a whole city to hunt in (preferably a central/south-american type of place with a large amount of jungle surrounding it). A Godzilla game that's kind of like that King Kong game from way back when (where half of the game is spent playing as a human and the other half is spent as the titular creature), except you're given a lot more freedom in each stage (because the King Kong game was mad linear, even when you're playing as Kong). An RPG/Space-Sim where you play as a single human who has their own customizable ship, crewed by a number of unique NPCs that you can recruit and interact with, and a whole open-world star cluster to explore fly around in. Not like Star Citizen, but more like if you took my above idea for the post-apoc RPG but put it in a Space setting (with appropriate space-related gameplay elements).
Fuck Shit Up
If you could have a game created to your exact wants/needs, what would it include? Try to keep your answers within the current technological possibilities.
I would have a game where you could literally do anything, it would be like GTA but completely un restricted in every single way, like a GTA combined with Postal. Or a game mirroring life as close as technology could allow it.
Space Engineers + Star Citizen + Grand Theft Auto + ???
I'm a simple man I like things go boom.

Concrete Jungle back on the Xbox/PS2 was a major disappointment.
I had an idea for an artsy sort of game, where you are a dog belonging to some guy. It's all black and white ofc, but probably still thirdperson. So you're just his dog in the background while a story is happening to him, and you can alter the story's outcome in different ways by like crapping on the carpet or asking to go outside while he's talking to some chick. It could have a bunch of different endings. I'd play it.

Red Orchestra 2 gameplay Battlefield 2 like setting Ace Combat 5/Zero like story Crysis 3/Battlefield 4 like graphics Arma 2/3 sized map I present to you the most fun, beautiful looking, large scale multiplayer shooter
I'd like something kind of like Animal Crossing, but more gameplay outside of item-collecting. Or something like the recent Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, but with MORE of an emphasis on item-collecting and house design. I like to collect mementos and trinkets from my travels in those games and display them in my house, but that feels more like a feature the devs just LET you use, instead of a feature they ENCOURAGE you to use. Generally I'm kind of disappointed "Animal Crossing clone" isn't really a game genre that exists.
I want an open-world game where all interactions, objectives, and character personalities are randomly generated. No regard for social norms or linguistic correctness whatsoever. And I want everyone to be voiced by a TTS engine. When you are assigned a mission, it should be common sense that whatever goal was put in place for you has nothing to do with the prompt. If you are asked to rob a gas station, you should be expected to do something entirely unrelated, like derail a train with a colossal dick carved out of a tree, and send it crashing into the gas station or something. It would essentially be like a hybrid between GTA and every YouTube Poop ever made.
As long as it has multiplayer, is easily modeable, has planes with arcade controls, decent graphics and a giant map, I'm happy I had a lot of fun in SA:MP just flying around the map and engaging in dogfights with the Mustang-lookalike, or racing others in cessnas. Wonder how well I'll fare in air combat after all my time playing War Thunder. [editline]May[/editline] Oh, and the game needs a radio station that only plays hard rock, and have a DJ voiced by Axl Rose.
Something along the lines of the open world of Test Drive Unlimited 2 made more interesting and the driving mechanics of Forza Horizon combined.
An RPG with really fun combat, visible progress (i.e. the armor you wear/weapons you wield are visibly displayed), a deep story, tons of side quests and a LOT of longevity without reusing assets.
Open World wilderness survival FPS set in the early 1800s US frontier, large emphasis on building, resource gathering, and exploration, combat would be primarily melee with axes, swords, musket butts, etc. Firearms would be slow, rare, and hard to shoot but quite deadly at close range. The game would start with you and a few men with basic supplies on a densely forested trail and you would be free to travel in any direction in the world from the start, you'd encounter a myriad of dangerous wildlife, hostile natives, dangerous weather, and rival land claimers/miners/highwaymen/bandits. There would be plenty of construction, from survival lean-tos and wigwams to log cabins and even full forts. The world would be several square miles in size with the majority of it being untouched forest with some mountains, rivers, valleys, cliffs, trails and Indian villages. A single town would exist somewhere in the world which would be essentially the world hub, you would buy food, ammo, repairs, tools, horses, and raw material there as well as be able to hire workers, soldiers, and doctors.
A bit more milsim-oriented Planetside 2 with competent devs basically fuse Battlefield 2 and Planetside together please
