Figured this would be a neat thread for us to get to know eachother and what our lives are like.
Post what your current situation is and how you want it to evolve in the next five years.
I'll start first:
Currently in a community college working for my A.A. degree. I'm unemployed, and in the next five years I plan on getting a BA or Master's degree in Philosphy.
Afterwards I hope to travel to a bigger city/town and get a nice job.
Right now I'm in highschool, Ill start my last year next year.
In 5 years I hope Ill be studying something that interests me, and hopefully the crisis will be over and I can get a job in that study.

but really I will hopefully go to college for some kind of computer 'study', I don't think I'm fit for computer programming but that's what has been my focus for some time now but yet have not made any progress
5 years?
I guess in Harfnarjordur in Iceland as a teacher. Or if there's doubt of that happening then I guess a IT manager.
I should have completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, after that I want to either continue on and go toward a masters degree or be working in the field.
In two years.
Get Associates Degree, get some cash from job during Community.
Move away from my parents place.
Get 5 years older.
It scares me to think that far ahead, where I am now, think I'll just worry about the now.
Right now, I'm halfway through my 8th and 2nd-to-last year of school.
In 5 years I'll either be attending business school studying towards international business/shipping, or I'll be working with 3D design and architecture so I can make guess what, 3D architecture. For games. Both are things I love. I hope I get to travel a lot with the former.
Going to college this August. In 5 years I'll be working at a police department in Washington, if all goes to plan.
I'll have done my GCSEs by then, and finished college. Around this time in 5 years, I'll be in uni. What a scary thought.
Five years time... I'll be 21, hopefully working in the game industry.

Well, I'm starting school next year to get a Bachelor's in either English or History, then I'll probably get a teaching job at the local High School. I'm planning on possibly marrying at some point within that interval.

I honestly have no fucking idea, and it kinda scares me.
Man, to think that in five years time, I'm already [B][I]24[/I][/B]. Where does time go :v:
I've already got a certificate in general IT appliances so I could work at hardware retailers or something else.
Right now I'm studying to become a computer programmer. Our course also includes Microsoft Office Specialist so that's even more certificates to add to my CV. We're also learning to make programs for Programmable Logic Controllers, so I could work at a manufacturing factory like DAF. The course also includes general web designing with a bit of everything, PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.
Though even with all that, I still don't have any idea of what'll happen in five years. I'm hoping to finish my course, though I see that happening pretty fine because my grades are a-ok. Motivation is doubtful sometimes but I can't say that's entirely my fault. Our school enjoys the reputation of lacking in quite a lot of things.
I really don't know what my feature will hold. It'd be awesome to work at a company like Valve (really extreme 'achievable' goal), but I have no experience whatsoever. And it's on the other side of the world.
It'd be neat to set up a studio with a friend who's studying business and marketing. But I don't have a budget whatsoever. I don't even have my driver's license yet.
And five years ago, I was in special education because of my 'assburger's syndrome. I think I've done well so far :v:

If I hurt myself on the job, what will I do after that? It'll be hard finding a job
Most likely trying to become an Air Traffic controller.
