Underground hip-hop and rap because it's artistic rather than being about bitches and gangstas and has meaning, and it gives me hope in what I thought was a dead art style. I also practice freestyle rapping because it helps me with my post-traumatic disorder, and is a good artistic medium for me. It also helps me relax and think.

Reggae, especially dancehall reggae. It puts me in a good mood and I feel a little bit better about things, no matter how shitty my life is at the time. Even if my life isn't shitty, and just dull, it helps me feel content and cool with everything.

Classical(preferably German) also helps me think and focus. Before I had a girlfriend, I would always listen to classical music before flirting with a girl because it helped me collect myself so I can talk and think straight without looking like an anxious creep. It also helps me focus on college papers.
