A Nice, Free, Easy Music Program

I'm looking for an easy to use program that I can download that is able to like take sounds and cut them and make loops and then save as a mp3 and use on an ipod. Something like Garage Band, but for a pc. I'm making custom halloween music using L4D 1 and 2 mp3 and wav files.

oh yeah it needs 'lame_enc.dll' or something in order to encode and export certain types of file, so you can download that from somewhere, tell the program where it is first time you export, then make sure you leave it somewhere and not delete it

I personally can't stand Audacity. It's UI is a bit annoying to me, and it can be aggravating with how you handle certain things.

I don't use it much, but my opinion still stands.

I also find Audacity's interface a bit simple, but it does the job when it counts

I kind of agree, but Audacity is still really useful.

When you save something as an mp3 for the first time it will ask you to locate the lame_enc thing. Just point Audacity to it and you're good. Don't delete the lame_enc though. Audacity will still need it.
