Games you've bought that turned out to be really bad - General

Basically post any games you've gotten that turned out to be shit, and try to give reasons why they were bad. I got Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD expecting it to be like the previous TH games with better graphics, remastered levels and some improvements but it just turned out to be an unoptimised, unresponsive piece of shit that didn't even have all the core features from previous games.

I was going to say THPS HD too... I would have to say Far Cry 2. While it is cool at a technical standpoint it just plain out sucks at everything else. Buddy system was a miss, AI wasn't programmed correctly and the ridiculous enemy spawning at checkpoints.

Dark Souls Not for the "hnng so casual" reason, I played and completed it, but it just wasn't appealing to me.

Spore. Biggest letdown in my life.

Resident Evil 6. Being a die hard fan of the series, I was really disappointed. The whole game was ass. I still haven't beaten it, and when i try to play it. I end up quitting after five minutes.

Bioshock. Like it wasn't that bad, but I just got bored after about two hours and quit.

Test Drive Unlimited 2. It's not bad,I still like it a tiny bit but it's a hottible port with clunky menus,weird physics and lag.

BF4, a mix between good and bad but not completely disappointed. Max Payne 3, a total disappointment for no more than $60. If only I could unlock unlimited bullet time and preferred cheats, I would give this game a second playthrough, but NOPE. You fucked me over Rockstar, BIG time you piece of shit FUCK.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter on PS2, lazy port

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, on PC. It was one of those times where you had no clue that a COMPLETELY different company made it than the console versions. It was horrid...you controlled a team that couldn't hit shit, graphics were muddy colors and hard to comprehend at times, and the network code was laggy as fuck.

We all have to agree that 2013's worst bought game is COD: Casper. I'm really sorry for ever buying that piece o' crappola.

Duke Nukem Forever (I think i was in a state of denial when i was first playing it, because it's Duke Nukem) Defy Gravity Extended (Game was really.... eh. Bought that game because the Mann Co store doesn't accept credit card payments and i needed to use my prepaid before it degenerates)

Brink. Had potential, but it was botched massively. Also APB, they were too secretive, hyped it up a huge amount, but never added enough features, it was massively lacking at the time. If they'd have added more features before release then maybe they wouldn't have gone bust and been bought by G1st, who ruined it even more.

Garry's Mod

sins of a solar empire its just not anything I can understand wargames Europe this game is so brutally unforgiving and the amount of menues and stats to keep track of was just ridiculous, also my units that had superior firepower and position always seemed to be wiped out by freaking everything, a flamethrower CANT take out an abrahms tank yet it wiped out like an entire division....

Batman of the Future for PS1. Turned out you can't even save your game, meaning if you want to complete the game, you have to do it in one sitting.
