I'm not to sure if there is a section for crysis so I thought I would post my question here.
I recently borrowed crysis from a friend to see how it is, and I can run the game fine without any lag, but the game just randomly crashes to a black screen then promptly closes and the sound randomly mutes in the game.
I have patched the game up to 1.2.1 and it still does this.
I'm running windows 7 64bit, ATI Radeon HD4850, an Intel Core 2 Quad and 4 gigs of DDR2 ram
I've tried running the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit version, I've tried compatibility mode for WinXP, still nothing helps.
For a game that looks amazing, they sure did shit poor quality at keeping the game stable on Windows7 64bit.
Also, if someone can think of a better section or a support site which would be better for this, please let me know because I really want to play through this some more.

Crysis was released before windows 7.
Doesn't this belong in the tech support section?
Well fuck, I guess I'm going back to Windows XP to play it durp :downs:
