Hey guys, post a few firearms you think look cool. Note to gun "experts": This thread doesn't care about anything other than the LOOK of the weapon, so if you know of a gun that looks really cool, post it here, even if it's an unreliable piece of shit that couldn't kill a cripple from point blank.
Personally, I have a thing for small, slightly futuristic-looking guns.
One that caught my imagination recently was the Magpul PDR-C

Also, the Mateba Autorevolver is one mean-looking handgun, I think it's popular in some Anime show, not sure though :

That's one of my favorite movies, and I just watched it yesterday, but the gun isn't a Mateba.

It IS a pretty mean looking gun, unfortunately, while it was made with parts of two real guns, I don't think it's a functional weapon.

I like those guns because wood and steel look cool together. They are also neat because you can look at them and see the evolution from old firearms to modern designs.

I just think this thing looks awesome, but I have no idea how it performs. It helps that I have a sweet spot for bullpups.

Groza OC-14
This is a Kalashnikov action in a bullpup design chambered for 9x39mm subsonic ammunition and with an integrated 40mm grenade launcher. The subsonic ammo means that has very limited range outside of urban combat situations. But that isn't necessarily a negative, as Speznaz has proven that it can be used very effectively in close quarters and urban settings. Also known to STALKERS as a reliable alternative to the AK-74.

Also chambered to the same subsonic 9x39mm round as the Groza, but with the added benefit of an integrated silencer. Similarly, it is limited to urban combat due to its lack of range. The combination of an integral silencer and the use of subsonic ammunition means that is very difficult to make out when this weapon is even firing. Some who have gone up against it have reported that it is easier to listen for the cycling of the bolt rather than the actual shot, as it is so quiet. Although considered a sniper rifle it is used exclusively as a DMR.

This is an M1 Garand chambered in .458 magnum. Your argument is invalid.
Yeah, never been a fan of the fishgun. They have them in BFBC2 and I just can't get used to the way they look. I can be completely owning the battlefield with one of them, it just doesn't look and feel right to me.

Then you're holding it wrong.
Pretty much. Pull the trigger. Round fires, you get a burning barrel hitting your face after not realizing the pure power of the gun, and you've just broken your nose. The clean, shining look of the barrel is now dirtied with blood and dirt, and perhaps a bit of mud.
The Mateba Autorevolver (in two different versions) is the signature weapon of Togusa in the anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and the film series Ghost in the Shell, to be exact.
