Post Your Family/Friends That are WAY too religious - General

Simple, Just post people that you know that are way too religious and a thing that they said that would indicate such, stuff that would really make you facepalm yourself. Even though it supposedly doesn't count, I do have an atheist friend who's a total asshole about it sometimes. I mean, yeah, I own a Bible. I used to be a Christian, the specific Bible was a gift, I didn't see the need to throw it out when I became agnostic. That doesn't mean he has to nut up and shun me over it. We made up since then, but he's still kind of a prick when it comes to that kind of stuff. The New Testament is what most people draw on for "life lessons", while the Old Testament is more of a stylized history of the Herbews and their stories and ways of life. It's been a while since I've read, though, so I might be wrong.

I have some atheist friends that are pretty bad. There's this one Coptic Christian I know who's really weird, also. I'm a Christian but I hate it when other Christians force people to convert to Christianity. I mean, I don't mind them trying to convert people to Christianity to learn about God's Word, the Bible, etc., but I just hate it when they try force the person into it.
