Seeing as you're taking examples from the whole forum and not the thread you're whining about I hardly see how that matters.
I agree with what you guys said, there are a lot of people who say such stuff and act like idiots, but I don't see what the "Fast Anime" thread really has to do with those kind of people, because they try to keep that thread clean of them, Then again I am a regular there so I really have no say in this.

In fact I would go so far as to say that while the bottom picture may not be that great looking in comparison, it serves it's purpose well. However, as for the top image which is supposed to be a museum piece, is bad for what it is. It's a mediocre and overrated piece of work, that has barely any semblance of creativity whatsoever. Fuck, if you were educated you would know that the image you selected was done by a "Superflat" artist, superflat being a deconstruction of the "anime" style of drawing and thus has aspects of the group of illustrations that you are criticizing. Furthurmore I would say that as a work of "museum art" that piece belongs on a portfolio rather than a wall. It is no more than a highly detailed version of something a kindergartner would draw.
You also forget how much work goes into animation.
Also for all you people criticizing anime because you saw a few shows. That's because the shows you watched were utter tripe; and not only is it moronic to judge a whole industry after witnessing one or two of their shows, but it just goes to show that you're immature as well.
