I jailbroke my 3.1.3 3g iPhone without any dramas using Blackra1n a few months ago. I then stupidly updated it with the latest software which restored it to it's original settings. Now everytime I try to re-jailbreak the iphone just goes back to factory settings and I lose all my songs. If anyone knows a way I could re-jailbreak it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
nah, ur just fucked, *thumbs up* should NEVER update ur jailbroken iPhone or iTouch unless you KNOW theres a software available for that particular update

It screwed up because you did the Jailbreak from the wrong version of Blackrain
a very few iPhone models can be jailbreaked
Blackra1n isn't updating until 4.0 so don't bother trying to jailbreak.

Jailbreaking is just better...
Apple does have a very moderated rules before something can come into the App store. thanks to jailbreak you can make whatever you want without all those rules...
And it makes your iPhone much cooler
