I know that the PS3 Slim can't play PS1 and PS2 games which i'm not really bothered about but i was wondering if there are any differences between that and the original. I want the Slim mostly because it's a lot more quiet and also i just like to have the pleasure of having the newest version of anything so i can gloat to friends haha.
I'm thinking wrong section. But I think it is. And it has Metal Gear Solid 4 (thats my reason).
The only thing different is the price drop and different design, it doesn't even have backwards compatibility.
you cant twist the logo

...Yeah because we all upgrade our pc's and consoles so we can play last gen games :downs:
Well there's no touch sensitive buttons anymore.
It's slightly slower than the older versions apparently.

Wow.
Yeah i think i'm gonna go with the PS3 Slim rather than the Original. I like the design better plus it's smaller and more quiet. I don't really care much if it's a fraction slower, as long as it can still do all the things that the Original can do.
Well.. Infamous is pretty awesome.
The PS3 is a great console. I would recommend it.
It can play PS1 games.

There's also support for Bravia Sync (which is useless) it only weighs 7 lbs to the original 11.
