what's the deal with all the "colour" threads in the GD?

I just went to the GD, and about half of it is filled with threads about how their color is best. What's the deal with this?

Old threads are getting posted on, they must of had other colours them days.

What? I don't see anything like that. EDIT: Oh, now I do. The hell?

I see it too, it says that they're from '07 and such.

I think it has to do with the join dates. The 06ers are apparently pink, but I still don't get what's going on. [editline]03:53PM[/editline] who decided to dig them up? they're just cluttering the GD.
