Hello facepunch. I am in a bit of a state of confusion right now. A few hours ago, I finished researching the details of the EH-TW450 home theater projector by Epson. I am able to find it being sold on some French web sites, but no where else. I searched on Google for "EH-TW450 buy" and "EH-TW450 where to buy" to no avail.
The projector can be seen in many people's home youtube videos, so it has been released - and many of these videos are of American and Canadian users, so it is not exclusive to Europe I don't think.
Could someone help me out? I really want this projector.
eBay?
Edit: If you live in UK

And eBay was just stupid..
Just get one that is more readily available.
If it is that hard to find, it will be super hard to get it fixed if it breaks.
Amazon.co.uk has tons of projectors.
Is there an American site selling it aside from eBay or any other used items site, I do not buy projectors and electronics of that sort used.
Also, can anyone find me an explanation of why I can not find it on their site or for sale in America? I think that it is a bit odd considering they made a HUGE deal about it and started to apparently sell it back in October of '09.
If you could just tell us where you want it to be sold, it would be easier for us.
I guess it would be best to decide on another projector now. I am in the USA, and have a budget of about 500 dollars, but if need be I can go to ~1000 USD.

Oh, shit dude, just get something from regular American Amazon.
What kind of specs/price range are you looking for?
They probably just updated the projector so now it has a different model number.
I'm sorry, but I think you will have to ship it if you really, but really need it.
I think that Epson is ruined or that the projector has been updated.
Try to search on epson's website.

my range is up to a thousand, but I would much rather have something up to the 500 dollar range. I have a very dark room, although sometimes it does get a bit bright. Something that could compensate for that with 720p (or 1080p, NOT 1080i), good for a ~160 inch screen.
I do want a projector that can also provide a BRILLIANT, AMAZING CONTRAST/BRIGHTNESS, and TRUE COLOR picture result.
Also, I want something that will have perfect response time for games, but I do not want the framerate to be so realistic that the movies i watch end up looking too real. I still want my movies to have that movie camera framerate and smoothness to them.
Why would a higher resolution compensate for a bright room?

A gaming projector?
Just look on their website, there are pretty good ones.
I hope you realise that projector bulbs break eventually, and they cost hundreds of dollars to replace, op.
In my opinion, just get a TV. I'm recommending this as a projector owner myself.

What I meant was something that could compensate by my dark and bright sessions, and additionally have 720p or 1080p. I didn't mean for them to be related to eachother :P.

You can't get a 160" TV!
I have a projector and also a TV.
My TV is only 42" but I use it most of the time. The projector is for when I have friends over mostly and we want to all play on the same screen.

Hmm.. That's really smart, might just buy one myself too.

Well in that case, what are some AMAZING large TV's for gaming and home theater in general? I will be using it for extreme home theater experiences, so again 500 to 1000 dollar price range, but less if applicable. I also was wondering... what is a good site to go to to learn a lot about home theater setups (actual basement theaters, not "just a big tv and stereo receiver" ... I mean the WHOLE thing. Painted walls, lighting, seating, everything.) ... I want to figure out some of the more fancy stuff, such as ambient lighting controllers, and I also want to know about tv ambient lights- theres apparently one device that does the same thing that those ambient glow tvs do, but independently, and more vividly. it can be used in different areas of the room so its not just the tv sillouhette.
You wont get an "AMAZING large" TV for <$1000.
