Post your car model, year, fuel usage, nominal (manufacturer's - use the one that fits the roads you travel) fuel usage and driving style. And please do state if it's diesel. Please do post your usage in both miles per gallon and liter per 100 km, for the sake of all. Here's a quick conversion calculator. Automobiles only, steam carriages need no apply. Ford Focus (international version, 2005) 1.6 My usage is 8.1 L/100km, 29 MPG Official is 7.6 L/100km, 31 MPG Generally I'm a slow driver but every once in a while I get some need for speed and usually then the usage goes up by a few percent. Still, it's not brilliantly economical, but I don't travel that much. I think the high usage is mostly due to the highway, I pretty much always go at the allowed speed, meaning almost 4k rpm in 5th gear.
Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Supposed to do 45 MPG which is 6.3 L/100KM Actually do 43 MPG which is 6.6 L/100KM but this is when I actually try and get good MPG, so low revs, not going past 70MPH etc, but it still isn't bad for an 11 year old car that's done 114,000 miles
Citroen Saxo 1.4 Furio SUpposed to do 44mpg I can do over 36mpg even when ragging the shit out of it :) Generally I am a wicked cool driver, drift king. I can hit 59 in 2nd and 82 in 3rd It's done 105k miles and Its a W reg [editline]12:37AM[/editline]
Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Actually do 43 MPG which is 6.6 L/KM
Maybe thats a bit less than 43mpg
