Dragon type books - General

Does anyone know of any good dragon books. I've read all of Christopher Paolini's books and I looked around and there are a lot of them and reading the backs of them doesn't seem to assure me that they won't be wack. So, any suggestions?

Anne Mccaffrey's books, than there is the name of that series that was my FAVORITE books when I was younger, but alas, I cannot remember it's name. Someone help me Facepunch, was about a kid who worked as a slave/servant on a dragon raising plantation. He steals one of the eggs to raise it to fight in a dragon arena, and raises it out on the steppes near the plantation.

I tried to download it and there's nothing but a bunch of images in it. And when I tried to unzip it via winrar it said it was corrupt.
