Yes! I loved this game back when it was released, and it broke my heart when it got shut down.
Never gave this game a try, but the style and game concept looks beautiful
I still don't know what they intend to do with people who own the retail version.
Will play just for the secret cow level.

Why has this returned? I played in the closed beta for the original game and hated it. My friends were absolute in love with it but I never understood why. For me, this game defines generic.

Hellgate and Mythos are both incredably underrated games in my opinion, it was a sad day really when flagship studies got shut down, i used to talk to a lot of the devs during the Mythos closed beta.
Flagship really had the opportunity to make something of this game but that "randomly generated map" concept was just a glorified "hey, so you played this earlier but we're going to give it a green skybox and make you spawn on the left instead of the right!"

It worked fine for Diablo back in the days, where they would mirror and turn the map and move some objects in the dungeons.

True but come on that isn't acceptable in 2007. It was more of an exaggeration than a compilation of everything Peter Molyneux has ever said about the Fable series.

I've played Hellgate: Lotsamone! a bit recently, it's not completely wrong. Very decent TPSMMO with some interesting features available.

I've played Hellgate: London in single-player and like the game. It's like Diablo but need more work, like I want something good with my minigun-pistols that I rocked with late-game.

No, not really.
I played it recently. It's pretty much exactly the same as it was before, but with lots of Engrish.
The downloader is always in the foreground of my monitor D: You can't put it in the background and play something else while downloading the files. Oh well. Hope the game is worth it...

It's incredibly old, almost as old as HL2, don't expect it to look like Crysis
