[sp]this is maybe the wrong place to post it but whatever[/sp]
So, my brother wants to start playing LoL, but it's never responding when he opens it, i need help.
We tried:
-Running as administrator
-Turning off UAC
-Making the "launcher_old" method
"Never responding"
That's rather general. What, exactly, does it do?

My guess would be that he launches the .exe and it stops responding before it gets to a usable state.

Just when he launches it, we see the League of Legends logo right? Like with steam, the "Connecting steam account: randomname001", we wait like 5 seconds then it stops responding.
Pretty much, it stops responding on startup
can he run it? what are his specs?
End the "rad_user_kernal" and all of the "league client" processes in your task manager, such as "LoLClient" "LoLLauncher" ect.
Or, click on the logo when it stops responding, and a window should come up telling you that another process with the name name is already running, click OK and it should open.
This will happen to you 9/10 times when starting up the game usually, it's a very stupid bug that happens because the league client doesn't close all of the processes that it originally opened besides the LoLClient when you exit the game. Hope this helped.
What language are you running?

He has the same specs than me:
Intel i5 3.0 Ghz
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Of course he can run it.

Oh shit, it worked, thanks Kool Kids Klub.
He is now downloading (like, in the program) LoL, if there's an other issue, i'll bump this thread.
Btw, my brother says thanks :P
Glad I could help
