Alright so quick question, in the United States (California): is it a criminal charge for a minor to send an adult a nude picture of themselves. As in the case where the minor gets in trouble, what is the crime called?

I believe that the you would get charged with creating child pornography or something like that.
Yeahhh you'd be better off doing some actual research.
If a minor were to send a nude photo of themselves, they would be charged with creating/distributing child pornography. (And the person it was sent to would be charged with possession.)
This could result in prison time, and having to register as a sex offender for life.
So don't fuck around, because like variant said, you'll get fucked by the "long dick" of the law.
