I'm not sure if there's already a thread like this, but I made this anyway. Recently, I've been thinking about what I want to do when I'm older, and everything just sounds so boring. Some people work in an office for 30 years, doing the same thing day in and day out, I can't understand how people do it. There's some people that work in a fast food shop their whole live but how is that the life for anyone? When I'm older, I want to make my life count, do something I enjoy and make something of myself. I don't want to work in a dead-end job that I hate. Working in an office, shop, etc isn't the live for me. So, Facepunch, share with me what you want to do when you're older.

I kind of agree with you about this, but look at it this way. Everybody has a different passion and opinion on what's fun and what isn't. I hope to make a career out of game design and obviously that involves sitting in a stuffy office all day, but I'd be doing what I love with a team of people who share that passion.
I don't have many high expectations in life, if I can end up living in a nice, small house with my boyfriend working for somebody like Valve Software, then that's all I'll need to be happy. Plus the occasional vacation to Hawaii.

Really, the biggest thing I have wanted in life is to travel and see the world more. Granted I have been traveling since I was very young, having lived in places like Iceland, Ghana and The Philippines; visiting places like Vietnam, China, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, and several others, there is a lot more I have yet to see in the world. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to go to Egypt and see all its wonders; Europe, too has always been an area of interest (hoping one day that I will be able to go on a Euro-trip and travel from country to country).
I love experiencing different cultures and people gaining a better perspective of the world, its people and life in general. Money is the biggest concern, but I am hopeful that one day I will be able to accomplish the goal to some extent, whether it be through business or pleasure.
Other than that, I'd like to discover my roots more.
