i've got a roland electric piano and it requires a 12v dc out and i lost the original cord, i also have a roland cord with 9v dc out. Will that work or will it explode?
You always need to match voltage. If you use a lower voltage, it probably won't explode, but it probably won't work correctly either.
It won't make it blow up but it probably won't work.
