Hey, I'm looking for some good music streaming websites. Anyone know of some good ones? When I was in high-school, I took a mechanics class and the teacher would use this website and play music from it. You could choose from genre, artist, album, stuff like that. As a joke, sometimes me and my friends would switch it to Sesame Street songs or Death Metal, just to see if anyone was paying attention. I liked the design of the website, anyone know what it might be? If not, any music streaming site would do.
spotify?
http://grooveshark.com/ is good, pretty sure you can search by genre and it has a station system, as well as the ability create an account and search for songs/create your own playlists.

Sadly isn't in Canada. Can't use it. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Not in Canada either, apparently.
Bandcamp lets you Stream albums for free usually. A lot of recent bands have one so if you're listening to stuff mostly in the 10s you should be good.

Use some browser plugins to go around those limitations?
"Hola" works fine for Chrome most of the time.

It's kind of a pain to install Chrome and Hola onto every single computer I'll ever want to listen to music from, for example, work computers, library computers, relative's computers, ect., ect..
Tried a portable version? I assume the USB ports aren't blocked.
