still needs work, anyone interested in buying on day 1 should be warned
some cars feel great, others have godawful physics - you can really tell which cars got more development time. force feedback is okay across the board, it's somewhere in between assetto corsa's massively in-your-face shitty ffb and iracing's incredibly accurate but delicate, light ffb. lots of wheel presets are included. controller experience is decent.
the AI is not awful, but not amazing - it won't be challenging Game Stock Car that's for sure. AI very obviously sticks to a set line, very rarely do the AI try to overtake eachother, I've never seen the AI crash into eachother, some tracks the AI cut corners every lap without fail when the player will get penalised for cutting the same corners.
a few other things to note, pit lane is controlled by AI you aren't allowed to drive it yourself. multiplayer is pretty lacking it was added in around a year ago and seemingly forgotten about, damage on some cars looks excellent and on others it's pretty bad.
but, there's a ridiculous amount of cars, tracks and track configurations. the weather system is really neat, the career progression is a lot of fun, the graphics are beautiful and the sounds are amazing in 90% of the cars. personally i'm going to wait until they send out the money for investors before buying it, hopefully by then there will have been some additional patches to fix some issues i have with it
[sp]although pcars 2 has already been teased on the forum, so i'm not sure how much support pcars 1 will get - also i hope i was allowed to say this[/sp]

What? Assetto Corsa's FFB is much better than iRacing. Assetto's FFB is not "shitty", in fact quite the opposite, it's possibly the racing game with the best force feedback around. You're talking rubbish.
