• Which type of Assault Rifle is better?

I've always wondered and never really could figure it out on my own. Are bullpups better than the "standard" assault rifle or do they both have strengths and weaknesses. I want to know because of a videogame idea I have, the human forces use a bullpup while another force uses standard and the last faction uses a BREN type gun. I mean with the real world.
Scar-H with Stopping Power and Slight of Hand Pro.

The one, which can shoot bullets.
The only real bad thing about bullpup is that soldier's have to get used to using them. Other than this, they're better in many ways.
every gun has its pros and cons. every gun serves its purpose. every gun has the exact same job

You get a shorter length of the overall firearm, along with a lighter rifle, but in my opinion they are awkward to reload.
The advantage bullpup weapons have over regular firearms with the magazine infront of the trigger is that the weapon can keep a long barrel (for accuracy) and not be too long.

The only real downside I know of is that it can take time to get used to if you're familiar with normal assault rifles.
The assaulting rifles are pretty nice.
Commando pro is your best assault rifle...
They both have strengths and weaknesses. The advantage of bullpup is that they usually weight a bit less, and are much more maneuverable than an equivalent traditional rifle with the same barrel length. The downside is that they're often harder and/or slower to reload, as 1) the layout doesn't work well with proprioception, and 2) you often have to point the gun upwards to access the magazine easily.

AK-47 obviously. Mother Russia makes best weapon.
Will you guys try READING the OP before replying? He's asking about classes of assault rifle, not specific models.
Once you get used to a bullpup's reloading it's not as difficult. Personally I prefer them over the normal magazine in front scheme.
Once you get used to a bullpup's reloading it's not as difficult. Personally I prefer them over the normal magazine in front scheme.
Have you actually used them? It's extremely difficult to reload while keeping it pointed straight at the enemy, ready to fire again. I usually have to point it upwards about 30 degrees and take my eyes off the sights. Compare that to a standard layout, which can be reloaded without moving the rifle itself. That's why bullpup isn't used as much when CQC is going to be an issue - you get it on long-barrel assault rifles, sniper rifles, not carbines or SMGs.

Also, to mention something to the OP: Don't feel you have to make your guns completely realistic in that respect. It would probably be best, game-balance wise, to have the guns for the different teams more or less identical, or at least make the differences minor. Having distinct visual styles like that WILL help the game, though.
There aren't many ambidextrous bullpups out there, but some of them can be converted. Bullpups reduce the length of a gun while maintaining accuracy.
Sorry but bad choice, unable to reload until full clip is used and as soon as you have finsihed there is an unmistakable *ping* which alerts your enemy to your absence of ammo
Obviously never shot one of those. You can definitely reload them mid-clip, although 1) it's slow and 2) the US Army trained troops not to do so, because it could bring in extra dirt that would jam the gun. As for the ping, that's a pure video-game thing. It started with movies, where the automatically-ejected clip would make a ringing sound as it hit the ground, if it hit concrete or rock. If you're shooting on dirt, grass or even gravel, it makes no such pinging sound, and it DEFINITELY doesn't make one as the clip ejects.
