If you don't have Morrowind there is something wrong with you and you should either get it now or commit seppuku
japanese ritual suicide by stabbing yourself in the stomach.
I thought it was harakiri anyway
I sure do love me some Morrowind.
Quickly outlander, I haven't much time. *stands there for 8 hours*
too bad its not just Morrowind... everyone will probably just buy the fps that is oblivion. its a shame, really
Oh please, Oblivion was still a great game, despite it's obvious flaws.
Especially with all the awesome mods (like Deadly Reflex)
Oh please, Oblivion was still a great game, despite it's obvious flaws.
sure its good i guess, but imo its the worst of the TES series, along with skyrim...
japanese ritual suicide by stabbing yourself in the stomach.
Not just stabbing, you're to pull the knife across your stomach letting much more bleed out. If you don't have the strength to do it then usually your best friend would take your head.
If I were to get either Morrowind or Oblivion, which would be a better choice?
everyone is going to tell you Oblivion, what a silly question.
Morrowind if you want a fantastically crafted world and an engaging story. Oblivion if you want a generic fantasy world and shitty story but some great side quests.
Woohoo, another game is on sale! And of course it has to be something I don't have, but want badly - in this case, Morrowind. And OF COURSE IT'S FUCKING UNAVAILABLE IN RUSSIA! I'm not paying shit to you, Bethesda dicks.
Bought both. gotta love dem steam deals
If I were to get either Morrowind or Oblivion, which would be a better choice?
It depends. I would say Morrowind if you want something more in depth in terms of mechanics and aren't afraid of some dated gameplay (and graphics). Oblivion if you want something that's easier to get into. Honestly, if it's an option I would say get both, though if you were to get both I would suggest you played Morrowind first.
everyone is going to tell you Oblivion, what a silly question.
Stop acting like you're the last person on earth that likes Morrowind and that everything after Morrowind is some big insult. It makes you look like a bit of a wanker.
Stop acting like you're the last person on earth that likes Morrowind and that everything after Morrowind is some big insult.
except everything after morrowind was/is ass compared to the older games, theyre pretty much an insult to rpgs... its the same way with the fallout series too, 3 and NV where just fps games.
Just because the combat was better in Oblivion doesn't mean it was more "casual" than Morrowind. Having a quest marker would be an example of that, but if you wanna play without using the quest marker you can. Although, I didn't like how they removed a lot of the weapons from Oblivion that were in Morrowind. Besides, the Dice-Roll combat for Morrowind is extremely dated. Fallout 3 and NV were far from FPS games too, considering that honestly the gun mechanics aren't that amazing in either of the games.
Ive been waiting for this for along time. I love you steam
I can smell the Nexus in the air.
I love the elder scrolls, but since I grew up on Oblivion I was never able to get into Morrowind. I suppose it doesn't have the nostalgia factor for me. I want to, I just can't for some reason.
I'm interested in Morrowind, but I fear having played Oblivion first I might be too 'spoiled' (so to speak) to enjoy it.
In terms of content and replayability, how does Morrowind compare with Skyrim?
I remember playing Morrowind when it first came out, a friend of mine bought it. I thought it was awesome. I also loved Oblivion and Skyrim, but I believe Morrowind is the better "game". It takes some getting into, though, as it still seems like bullshit to me that you can't hit anything with an axe the size of your torso if your axe skill is low.
If you don't have Morrowind there is something wrong with you and you should either get it now or commit seppuku
Morrowind bored the shit out of me I barely made it past the first quest before I quit and uninstalled it.
Morrowind bored the shit out of me I barely made it past the first quest before I quit and uninstalled it.
And the awful combat system and poor animations. Walls of text are annoying too as you have to read large chunks while the rest of the world is screaming at you to explore.
If you don't have Oblivion there is something wrong with you and you should either get it now or commit sudoku
