I usually refer to everyone as him, but I generally see people on the internet as "internetpeople". (As in no gender.) I don't mind girls, they are usually better then guys anyway when it comes to chatting.

I've known a few, they were nice to be around as long as you didn't act creepy around them, but the moderators on the sites I've frequented generally put paid to that kind of behavior. I gave a few of them some small scraps of life advice now and then and it seemed to be of use to them, they liked me all the more for it.
